    Abstract: An apparatus for precisely locating and instantaneously securing and releasing a first, stationary surface in proximate contact with a second, movable surface. A portion of the first surface is compressively secured by the apparatus so as to expose a lateral edge of the first surface for contacting the second surface. Means for securing and releasing the first surface is provided to enable a quick and easy adjustment or removal of the first or second surface.
