  • Patent number: 12076523
Abstract: A medical stopcock includes a main body having an input port and an output port, a valve body having a handle and a syringe port, with the valve body moveable relative to the main body and defining a valve passageway. The valve body includes a first position where the input port and the output port are in fluid communication via the valve passageway, a second position where the syringe port and the output port are in fluid communication via the valve passageway, and a third position where the syringe port and the input port are in fluid communication via the valve passageway. Rotation of the syringe port is configured to move the valve body relative to the main body.

  • Patent number: 12055420
Abstract: A system may include a flow sensor and a base. The flow sensor may include a flow tube, a sensor configured to characterize at least one attribute of a fluid in the flow tube, and an electrical contact in electrical communication with the sensor. The flow tube may include a fluid inlet at a first end of the flow tube, a fluid outlet at a second end of the flow tube, a fluid injection port between the first and second ends of the flow tube, and a valve configured to control a flow of a fluid in the flow tube. The base may include a processor, an electrical contact in electrical communication with the processor, a short range wireless communication device, and a display. The flow sensor electrical contact may be in electrical communication with the base electrical contact when the flow sensor is connected to the base.

  • Publication number: 20240022844
Abstract: A medical device with audio output for use in a sterile field may include a housing and an audio output device. The housing may include an interior surface and an exterior surface, the interior surface may define an interior space of the housing including the audio output device, and the interior space of the housing may be fluidically sealed from an external environment by the housing. The audio output device may include a speaker and/or an audio exciter.

  • Publication number: 20230264010
Abstract: A medical stopcock assembly with position detection includes a medical stopcock and a sensor. The medical stopcock may include a main body and a valve body. The valve body may define a valve passageway and be moveable relative to the main body between a first position where a first input port and an output port are in fluid communication via the valve passageway, a second position where a second input port and the output port are in fluid communication via the valve passageway, and a third position where the second input port and the first input port are in fluid communication via the valve passageway. An external surface of the valve body may include a position structure. The sensor may be configured to sense the position structure to determine whether the valve body is in the first position, the second position, or the third position.

  • Publication number: 20210228857
Abstract: A medical connector includes a body, a first connector defining a longitudinal axis extending from a first end of the first connector to a second end of the first connector and a second connector secured to the body and in fluid communication with the first connector. The first connector is secured to and rotatable relative to the body about the longitudinal axis. The first connector includes a valve member and is configured to be secured to a syringe barrel. The valve member of the first connector having a sealed position and an open position. The valve member of the first connector is configured to move from the sealed position to the open position when a syringe barrel is secured to the first connector.
