Abstract: A system and apparatus for increasing the safety of motor vehicles traveling at high speeds in the rearward direction is provided. An air dam hingedly secured to the aft end of a vehicle may remain in a stowed position while the motor vehicle is traveling in a forward direction so as not to interfere with aerodynamic performance. When a motor vehicle begins to enter a spin, the air dam may deploy and increase the downward force on the vehicle and as well as act as an air brake, thereby reducing the likelihood of the aft end of the vehicle lifting from the surface during a spin-out at high speeds.

The invention also relates to a method of using an adaptive beam forming algorithm that may be incorporated into a stereo headset. The sensor array used herein has adaptive filtering capabilities.

Abstract: A systems and method for testing a vehicle suspension may include a kinematics rig and a main control unit having a graphical user interface (GUI). The system can provide for automated testing, control, data acquisition and analysis, and sensor handling for conducting comprehensive performance testing of vehicle chassis and suspension systems in a contained solution. All requisite tests for suspension systems analysis may be user-selectable and configurable from the GUI and executed via software based on test procedures stored in memory. The system's data acquisition capabilities may be easily integrated into standard industry analysis tools.

Abstract: A miniature microphone enclosure is provided for use with a wireless headset. The microphone enclosure provides superior noise and wind cancellation without any circuitry. Two sound ports and wind suppression material help minimize any noise attributable to wind or air. Moreover the microphone enclosure has a directivity such that the microphone does not have to be placed directly in front of a user's mouth.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention a method for testing a vehicle suspension using a kinematics rig is disclosed. The method includes receiving an input corresponding to a pre-programmed test procedure for testing the vehicle suspension; transmitting a control signal to the kinematics rig corresponding to the test procedure; receiving suspension data sensed by one or more vehicle suspension sensors during execution of the test procedure; receiving rig data sensed by one or more rig feedback sensors during execution of the test procedure; and formatting the suspension data and rig data for display via a graphical user interface (GUI).

Abstract: A program for purchasing homes is disclosed. The program is primarily intended for individuals with a poor or sub prime credit rating that precludes them from qualifying for conventional home loan financing. The individuals improve their credit rating as part of the program. The program is preferably operated as a franchise in which franchisees initially purchase homes on behalf of the individuals, lease the homes to the individuals according to a contract entered prior to purchasing the home and, upon successful fulfillment of the lease, the home is sold to the individual using conventional financing. The fulfillment of the lease-to-own contract assists in improving the individual's credit rating and assists in positioning the individual to qualify for conventional home loan financing.
