  • Patent number: 11839496
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a sensor-based monitor for movements of workers. Multiple inertial sensors are attached to different body parts of the workers. A mobile device application receives the inertial movement data from the sensors and identify movement patterns by applying a trained machine learning model to the inertial movement data. The application then determine for each movement pattern an amount of time that movement pattern occurred and accessing a database to retrieve stored data on an association between the identified movement patterns and injuries. The application calculates a risk value indicative of a risk of injury of the worker as a result of performing the identified movement pattern for the determined amount of time and produces a report detailing the risk value for each of multiple risk categories.

  • Patent number: 8091579
Abstract: A level sensor for providing an indication of liquid level in a container. The level sensor including an ultrasonic transducer for emitting an ultrasonic signal to the surface of the liquid and for detecting a return signal, reflected from the surface. A controller instructs the transducer to emit ultrasonic signals and receives an indication that a return signal has been detected. The controller including a timer for measuring the time period between emission of the ultrasonic signal and receipt of a return signal, the determined time period providing an indication of the liquid level. A radio transmitter receives an indication of the liquid level and transmits a radio liquid level signal to a remote output unit.

  • Publication number: 20070022704
Abstract: A cross tie bracket that is attachable to a rod and a building structural element. The cross tie bracket has a generally cylindrical body sized to receive the rod and a gusset disposed between the body and a base. The base has a series of apertures formed therein for inserting fasteners through the base into the building structural element, temporarily securing the cross tie bracket to the building structural element with screws, and for providing alignment of a temporary drill guide with the base. A first and second end plate are disposed adjacent to each respective end of the cylindrical body. Each of the end plates has a rod aperture sized to receive the rod. Accordingly, by inserting and securing the rod to the end plates, it is possible to attach the rod to the building structural element.

  • Publication number: 20050276674
Abstract: An anchor having multiple legs for a concrete wall. The anchor has an interface plate with two sides. Disposed on a first side is a stud that is connectable to a bracket. Disposed on the second side of the interface plate are at least two legs. Each of the legs is insertable and secured to a respective hole formed in the concrete wall with epoxy. Once the epoxy cures, the leg attaches the anchor to the concrete wall.

  • Patent number: 5925258
Abstract: A method of separating particulate material suspended in a liquid from that liquid is described. The method includes the steps of: providing at least one upright tubular filter unit having a top end and a lower end; introducing a flow of the suspension into the tubular filter unit at one end thereof; and allowing the suspension to pass through the tubular filter unit trapping particulate material on an inside surface thereof. Apparatus in which the method of the invention is performed is also described.

  • Patent number: 4002042
Abstract: A process is provided for the separation and recovery of a major portion of the C.sub.2 + hydrocarbon content of a feed gas comprising hydrogen, methane, ethylene, and ethane. The feed gas is introduced to a dephlegmator to effect its separation into a vapor stream and a condensate stream. The condensate stream which is rich in C.sub.2 + hydrocarbons is passed to a demethanizer column where it is fractionated into an overhead methane-hydrogen stream and a bottoms product ethylene-ethane+ stream.
