The system comprises a controller that executes a circuit board discrete area program based on a circuit layout and generates video signals associated with images of components and/or pins to be displayed in a discrete area location of a circuit board assembly, and a display system that receives the video signal and displays the images of components and/or pins in the discrete area location of the circuit board assembly to facilitate at least one of assembly, test and diagnostic repair of the circuit board assembly.
