  • Publication number: 20190208580
Abstract: Heating systems, methods for manufacturing heating systems, and methods for using heating systems are provided. A heating system includes a nano-layer a first polymer layer contacting and extending along a first side of the nano-layer, and a second polymer layer contacting and extending along a second side of the nano-layer. The seat heater also includes lead wires connected between the nano-layer and a heater control system operatively connected to a power supply. The control system may be controlled using an application programming interface running on a mobile electronic device. The nano-layer, the first polymer layer, and the second polymer layer form a flexible sheet that is attached to or incorporated in an item to be heated.

  • Publication number: 20190143858
Abstract: Seat heaters, methods for manufacturing seat heaters, and methods for using seat heaters are provided. A seat heater for use in a vehicle seat includes a graphene-containing electrothermal layer, a first polymer layer contacting and extending along a first side of the graphene-containing electrothermal layer, and a second polymer layer contacting and extending along a second side of the graphene-containing electrothermal layer. The seat heater also includes lead wires connected between the graphene-containing electrothermal layer and a heater control system operatively connected to a power supply. The control system may be controlled using an application programming interface running on a mobile electronic device. The graphene-containing electrothermal layer, the first polymer layer, and the second polymer layer form a flexible sheet that is disposed under a cover of a vehicle seat.

  • Patent number: 4075729
Abstract: A device is shown that is adapted to be used with heavy portable dockboards or dockplates to raise a corner or edge thereof so that the forks of a forktruck can be pushed under the dockboard structure that is to be lifted and transported to another location. A leverage system is permanently mounted on one or more corners of the dockboard or the like, the system being operative to easily raise at least one corner of the board high enough to permit the forks of the forktruck to be slid under the board.

  • Patent number: 3987915
Abstract: A tire storage and retrieval structure is shown together with a method of operation. Tires are stored in a rack or bin in a series, to roll by gravity down an inclined chute or ramp means and the series of tires is circulated from the exit on the ramp to the infeed end with power lifting means until the particular tire to be removed from the series comes to the lower or exit end of the ramp. A record keeping means is described for keeping an ongoing record of the tires being rotated and their respective positions in the series stored on the ramp. A plurality of such ramp means and coordinating servicing equipment is provided.
