  • Patent number: 9963915
Abstract: Disclosed is a cable lock particularly configured for securing the cover of a control switch, such as a fluid flow or pressure switch used in industrial pressurized air and water delivery systems that include a fluid line tap, a base, a flow or pressure switch mounted on the base, and a switch cover removably attached to the base and covering the switch. The cable lock is specially configured with a first loop portion that wraps around the fluid line tap, and a second loop portion attached to the first loop portion and positioned at approximately 90° to the first loop portion that wraps around the switch cover so as to prevent unauthorized removal of the cover and unauthorized access to the switch.

  • Patent number: 8302470
Abstract: A flow test device for diminishing and diverting the flow of a high pressure stream of water while testing a fire pump has a hollow diverter tank supported on a trailer for receiving a high pressure stream of water forced by the fire pump through one or more pipes and nozzle tips retained in a stable position adjacent the diverter tank. Diffusers within the tank divert the flow of water as it enters the tank with the water subsequently exiting through an open bottom of the diverter tank. One or more support panels maintain the pipes in a generally horizontal orientation in relation to the diverter tank. A valve and gauge board enables a user to control the testing and provides for easy positioning in the vicinity of the fire pump to be tested while avoiding splash and spray from the diverter tank discharge.

  • Patent number: 5806135
Abstract: An apparatus for removing dust from an object has a resilient body having a first substantially flat surface and a second surface having a plurality of spaced-apart projections. A flock coating covers at least the first and second surfaces. The flat surface of the apparatus is used for removing dust from a generally flat surface, whereas the surface with spaced-apart projections is used for removing dust from more complex surfaces and from nooks which cannot be reached using the flat surface of the apparatus. The resilient body is preferably made of a foam material. Although the body may be of virtually any shape, polyhedral shapes are preferred in order to provide a plurality of dusting surfaces.

  • Patent number: 4800514
Abstract: A specialized dimension proportioning hand-held calculator designed specifically for computing percent reductions of photographs in the graphic arts field. The calculator computes the percent reduction from an original width or height of the photograph and from the desired reduction width or height in decimal notation and fractional notation. The calculator also is designed to perform basic mathematical functions. The calculator is generally comprised of a mode selection device, a numerical keyboard, a keyboard display, a percent reduction display, a power cell, and four display cells comprised of decimal and fraction displays, an enter key, a constant key, and a display cell clear key. The calculator components are encased in a generally hard, rectangular casing. Power for the calculator is supplied by the power cell.
