Abstract: Ureteral catheters and assemblies are provided including: a drainage lumen including a proximal portion configured to be positioned in at least a portion of a patient's urethra and a distal portion configured to be positioned in a patient's ureter and/or kidney, the distal portion including a coiled retention portion including at least a first coil having a first diameter and a second coil having a second diameter, the first diameter being less than the second diameter; or wherein the retention portion extends radially outwardly from a portion of the distal end of the drainage lumen portion, the retention portion including a proximal end having a first diameter, a distal end having a second diameter, and a wall and/or surface extending therebetween, the retention portion having a second diameter is greater than the first diameter when deployed; or wherein the retention portion includes a plurality of drainage tubes.

Abstract: Disclosed is a lyophilized rapidly disintegrating solid dosage form, one embodiment of which comprises a thrombin receptor antagonist such as, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or hydrate thereof, a polymer such as gelatin, and a matrix forming agent such as mannitol. Systems for effectively buffering the pre-lyophilized suspension are taught, along with methods of treating patients at risk for acute coronary syndrome by administering such a rapidly disintegrating solid dosage form.

Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for characterizing an individual's risk profile of developing a future cardiovascular disorder by measuring the level of sterols obtained from a individual. The present invention also includes methods of evaluating the likelihood of whether an individual will benefit from treatment with an agent for reducing risk of a future cardiovascular event, such as atherosclerosis, myocardial infarction and stroke.

Abstract: The present invention provides methods for treating or preventing an autoimmune disorder and associated conditions by administering at least one sterol absorption inhibitor and compositions, therapeutic combinations and methods including: (a) at least one sterol absorption inhibitor; and (b) at least one autoimmune disorder treatment which can be useful for preventing or treating an autoimmune disorder and associated conditions.
