    Abstract: The addition of an epoxytrialkoxysilane such as glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane to room temperature vulcanizable silicone elastomer compositions which vulcanize through the reaction of moisture with silicon-bonded acetoxy functionality gives improved adhesion when cured in contact with substrates such as glass and aluminum without the use of primers.
