  • Publication number: 20120303607
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and articles for receiving a search request associated with a transportation service from a client device, the search request including a plurality of search criteria, are described herein. Additionally, the methods, apparatuses, and articles further return to the client device an answer page having a plurality of answers potentially associated with the transportation service, the plurality of answers identifying a plurality of information locations having information potentially associated with at least a one of the plurality of search criteria, where at least one of the answers includes at least one input field of a query answer page for entry of at least one feature of the transportation service, the query answer page to be dynamically generated by one of the information locations in response to a query.

  • Patent number: 8185621
Abstract: Webpages at a universal resource locator (URL) address are compared at two different times. A request is received from a web browser for a first webpage at the URL. The first webpage is requested and received from the URL at a first time. A selectable webpage is created by editing the first webpage to make it selectable and the selectable web page is sent to the web browser. A selection is received from the web browser that includes a portion of the selectable web page and a frequency. An application is created that retrieves a webpage from the universal resource locator address of the website periodically at the frequency. A second webpage is received from the application that was retrieved from the universal resource locator address at a second time by the application. A portion of the second webpage is compared to the portion of the selectable webpage.

  • Patent number: 7693956
Abstract: Associated query parameters of queries of query answer web pages of a plurality of websites corresponding to a set of search criteria are identified and reconciled. Proxy web page specifications comprising the queries and their associated query parameters are created, and submitted for processing by a search engine to create a plurality of indices to effectively index the dynamic query answer web pages. For associated query parameters to be posted to the websites, the associated query parameters for pre-filling the forms are pre-stored at a proxy server, and the corresponding queries included in the indices, modified to address the proxy servers. During operation, on receipt of the search criteria from a client, the search engine returns a search answer web page including the indices that effectively indexes the dynamic query answer web pages.

  • Publication number: 20030133922
Abstract: ITP may be treated using a method that involves identifying the autoimmune response, collecting allogeneic platelets, sterilizing allogeneic platelets and feeding them orally. Auto-antigens contained on the surface of allogeneic platelets administered to the intestines deactivate or delete lymphocytes responsible for auto-antibody production. This treatment can be used for ITP, specifically targets the cause of the disease and provides the possibility of a sustained response without further medication.

  • Patent number: 5737060
Abstract: Visual field perimetry may be performed using virtual reality glasses, a computer, a printer and an external mouse. The advantages of such a system are price, portability and patient comfort. Virtual reality glasses containing an independent display for each eye allow both eyes to be tested at once. They also allow one eye to be used for fixation while the other eye is being tested. In order to maximize the use of the small screens of virtual reality glasses a moving fixation point is used. Predefined discrete targets are placed momentarily on the screen at angles calculated based on the current location of the fixation point. Patients respond to the targets by clicking a mouse button. Fixation monitoring is handled by blind spot monitoring of both eyes or by monitoring responses to a change in direction of the moving fixation point. Results in numerical or grayscale format may be sent to a computer screen or printer.

  • Patent number: 5565949
Abstract: A moving and changing fixation point allows visual field perimetry to be performed on the small screen of a laptop computer. A moving fixation point increases the effective area of the screen. A changing fixation point maintains the attention of the user and provides a method of monitoring fixation.
