  • Patent number: 12232928
Abstract: Systems for determining patient compliance with an orthodontic treatment or retention plan may include a polymeric shell appliance for receiving the patient's teeth, a sensor module on the polymeric shell appliance having a temperature sensor, a proximity sensor, a power source, and a communication antenna for communicating with an external case, and a processor configured to determine that the polymeric shell is being worn by the patient based on temperature data from the temperature sensor and proximity data from the proximity sensor, by determining that a measured temperature is within a body temperature range and that a measured proximity value is within a threshold proximity to an intraoral target. Methods of manufacturing these dental appliances are also described herein.

  • Patent number: 7921345
Abstract: A system comprising a plurality of components and an automation module coupled to the plurality of components. The automation module is adapted to automatically initialize a software test environment for at least one of the plurality of components, where the software test environment prepares the at least one of the plurality of components to be tested. The automation module also is adapted to, without transferring a testing agent to the at least one of the plurality of components, automatically test the at least one of the plurality of components.

  • Patent number: 4989327
Abstract: A transparent shape retentive and flexibly resilient tubular member is supported from a farm tractor in an upstanding plane disposed transverse to the tractor and is vertically bowed. The interior of the tubular member includes gravity responsive indicator structure disposed therein and movable therealong to a longitudinal center position within said tubular member responsive to gravity forces when the vehicle is laterally horizontally disposed and movable, proportionally along the tubular member from a central position therein toward opposite ends of the tubular member responsive to lateral tilting of the tractor in opposite directions and structure is provided to adjustably vary the radius of curvature of the arcuate tubular member.

  • Patent number: 3984332
Abstract: A radiation detection system which utilizes the generation of Cerenkov light in and the transmission of that light longitudinally through fiber optic wave guides in order to transmit intelligence relating to the radiation to a remote location. The wave guides are aligned with respect to charged particle radiation so that the Cerenkov light, which is generated at an angle to the radiation, is accepted by the fiber for transmission therethrough. The Cerenkov radiation is detected, recorded, and analyzed at the other end of the fiber.
