A shaped base portion, having a length less than a height of the apparatus, supports the image and the information display in a substantially vertical orientation. The shaped base portion permits the image and the information display to oscillate upon external urging. Added weight in the top half of the apparatus assists in providing a desired oscillation rate.

Abstract: An improved shower sprayer is provided which includes an oscillating head to provide improved water coverage for a shower user. The valve may include a base, at least one oscillating sprayer head supported by the base and a turbine system driven by a current of water fro a water source. The turbine system actuates the oscillating sprayer head.

Abstract: A coin sorting apparatus includes a coin receiving area, a coin sorting ramp, and a coin stripper. The coin stripper includes an inlet and a backing plate located adjacent said inlet to support a stack of associated unsorted coins received from the inlet with a face of a lowermost coin of the stack abutting the backing plate. The coin stripper further includes a pushing member located adjacent said backing plate and adapted for reciprocal sliding movement relative to said backing plate between an extended position and a retracted position. The pushing member, when moving from the retracted position to the extended position, engages the lowermost coin of the stack and moves the lowermost coin onto the coin sorting ramp.

Abstract: A tree stand for supporting a tree includes a base. The base includes a receptacle for receiving and supporting the trunk of the tree. A fluid reservoir for storing a fluid is detachably connected to the base. A first valve is attached to the reservoir and is operable between and open and closed position to allow fluid to flow outwardly of the reservoir in the open position and to prevent fluid from flowing outwardly of the reservoir in the closed position. A second valve is attached to the base and is in fluid communication with the receptacle. The second valve is operable in an open position to allow fluid to flow into the receptacle, and a closed position to prevent fluid from flowing outwardly of the receptacle.

Abstract: An electric toothbrush includes a head having a moving portion, a handle, and shaft between the head and the handle. A body portion is hollow and further includes a motor operative to generate motion for driving the moving portion. A battery is located within the hollow section for powering the motor. A first switch, operatively connected to the motor provides momentary operation of the toothbrush. Optionally, a second switch provides for continuous operation of the toothbrush. The first switch can be operated while the toothbrush is in a toothbrush package, such as, for example, a plastic blister pack. A consumer can momentarily observe the operation of the toothbrush before purchasing the toothbrush. The consumer cannot operate the second switch and is thereby prevented from leaving the toothbrush in a battery draining operational mode for extended periods of time.

Abstract: A sanitizer which utilizes hot air to destroy bacteria upon household products such as nursery, bathroom and kitchen items. The sanitizer includes a base, heating element, fan, and a sanitizing chamber with spacers which allow optimal placement of the products being sanitized. The sanitizer includes a vented cover which allows operation within a set temperature range and fast cool down when the sanitizing process is complete.

Abstract: A coin sorting apparatus includes a housing and a coin transport assembly that receives individual associated coins from an entrance and moves the coins upwardly in the housing from a first elevation to a higher elevation relative to a support surface. A coin sorting assembly includes an inlet positioned to receive coins from the transport assembly. The coin sorting assembly includes a coin sorter that classifies coins according to their diameter. A plurality of coin chutes are located to receive coins from the coin sorter and convey received coins to a plurality of sorted coin chambers. A manual drive system is operably coupled to the coin transport assembly. A movable member is externally connected to the housing and is coupled to the manual drive system so that it moves between first and second positions in response to operation of the manual drive system.

Abstract: An apparatus for mixing a beverage includes a reservoir for receiving a predetermined amount of liquid; a mixing chamber for receiving a predetermined level of a powdered material; and a manifold having an outlet to deliver the liquid from the reservoir to the mixing chamber, where the outlet is disposed below the predetermined level of the powdered material.

Abstract: A power tool comprising a housing having a member disposed therein and a spindle for receipt of a tool bit wherein the spindle is retained on a shaft. The spindle and shaft define an axis of rotation relative to the housing. The power tool further comprises a collet having a sleeve that includes a collet engaging portion disposed on an inner surface of the sleeve and an opening centered on the axis for passage of the shaft therethrough and for receiving the member disposed in said housing to permit axial sliding movement between a locked position and an unlocked position. The power tool further comprises a spindle engaging portion disposed on the spindle wherein the spindle engaging portion engages with the collet portion means when the collet is moved in the locked position thereby rigidly locking the collet and the spindle together to prevent rotational movement of the spindle.

Abstract: A toothbrush with a detachable/replaceable head, comprising a top section having a first aperture, a second aperture, a first end and a second end. The first end includes a notched portion. The first aperture extends from the top section first end along a length of the top section within the top section. The second aperture is located along a top surface of the top section, a bottom section having a first end and a second end. The first end includes a tabbed portion which matingly engages with the notched portion of the top section first end. The bottom section further includes an extension having a first end and a second end and a protrusion adjacent the extension first end wherein the extension is connected to the bottom section first end. The protrusion selectively cooperates with the second aperture in the top section to selectively lock and unlock the top and bottom sections. The extension is inserted into the first aperture of the top section.

Abstract: A cash box includes a housing with a bill storage compartment located in the housing. A coin sorter mechanism is supported by the housing for sorting coins of different denominations. A plurality of coin storage compartments are located in the housing for storing sorted coins. Each coin storage compartment stores coins of a common denomination. The plurality of coin storage compartments communicate with the coin sorter mechanism. The bill storage compartment includes a plurality of sections, each intended to hold a bill of a particular denomination. The housing preferably includes a base which accommodates the plurality of coin storage compartments as well as the coin sorter, and a door which accommodates the several sections of the bill storage compartment. A lift out bill tray may also be accommodated in the door.

Abstract: A plastic container and lid assembly for storing liquid coating materials including a container and a lid. The container has a body with a bottom wall, at least four sidewalls and a neck. The neck defines a wide mouth opening and including threads for receiving mating threads on the lid. The lid also has a plurality of lugs, preferably two lugs, extending radially from the lid and terminating at or before the lugs extend beyond the container sidewalls when the lid is in sealed engagement with the container. The body also has an integral handle for lifting the container and the container neck supports a bail-type handle also for lifting said container. The integral handle and bail-type handles do not extend beyond the container sidewall. The container and lid assembly having an effective packing footprint and an effective packing volume which substantially conforms to the effective packing footprint and the effective packing volume of a conventional metal paint can.

Abstract: An electric toothbrush comprising an elongated body portion and a head including a static portion and a moving portion, a handle, and an angled shaft between the head and the handle. The moving portion rotates or reciprocates about an axis normal to a longitudinal axis of the head. The moving portion can include stiff bristles and massaging tips and the static portion can include soft bristles and massaging tips. The elongated body portion is hollow and further includes a motor in the hollow portion, which is operatively connected to the moving portion for rotating or oscillating or reciprocating the moving portion. A battery is located within the hollow section for powering the motor. A switch is operatively connected to the motor to provide momentary and continuous operation of the toothbrush. A worm gear and a pair of step gears are located in the hollow portion. The motor is operatively connected to the worm gear and the step gears are operatively connected to the worm gear and to each other.
