  • Arrangement for frustrating fraudulent telephone calls

    Abstract: A method and arrangement for frustrating attempted fraudulent calls from a station using a "blue box" device to avoid toll charges. Upon detecting a possible fraudulent call, the sequence of digits from the blue box is altered to divert the call from its intended destination. Specifically, "KEY PULSE" and "START PULSE" tones are generated and commingled with the digits from the blue box to route the call to reorder.
