  • Patent number: 11950510
Abstract: A superconductor junction includes a normal metal layer having a first side and a second side, an insulating layer overlying the second side of the normal metal layer, and a first superconductor layer formed of a first superconductor material that overlies a side of the insulating layer opposite the side that overlies the normal metal layer. The superconductor junction further includes a second superconductor layer formed of a second superconductor material with a first side overlying a side of the first superconductor material opposite the side that overlies the insulating layer. The second superconductor material has a higher diffusion coefficient than the first superconductor material and/or the second superconductor material has a lower recombination coefficient than the first superconductor metal layer. A normal metal layer quasiparticle trap is coupled to a second side of the second superconductor layer.

  • Patent number: 7654410
Abstract: A vehicle reservoir tank has an anti-spill chamber and an overflow channel. The anti-spill chamber has a body portion, an inlet at one end of the body portion and an outlet at another end of body portion. The anti-spill chamber is configured and arranged to restrict fluid flowing from a main reservoir chamber. The overflow channel has a first end portion, a second end portion and an intermediate curved portion. The first end portion is fluidly coupled to the outlet of the anti-spill chamber. The intermediate curved portion extends from the first end portion to the second end portion such that the second end portion of the overflow channel extends downwardly relative to the first end portion. The second end portion extends along an area of the body portion of the anti-spill chamber to restrict the flow from the anti-spill chamber.

  • Patent number: 5118063
Abstract: A concession tray for carrying beverages and snacks from a concession sales area to a stadium or theater seat. The concession tray is made of light, inexpensive paper stock or plastic and includes downwardly extending cup receptacles sized for receipt into a chair arm cupholder. The cup receptacles have multiple internal shoulders for receiving and holding different sizes of cups. The tray cup receptacles preferably include left, center and right receptacles for left, center or right mounting on the chair arm. A downwardly depending leg spaced from the cup receptacles maintains the tray level for loading with concession food and beverages. The tray is configured for stacking with the cup receptacles and legs fitting into matching cavities.

  • Patent number: 4863134
Abstract: A combination cup holder and armrest is provided for attachment to a chair arm. Typically, the chair arm is shared by adjacent theater or stadium chairs, or the like. The cup holder is integral with the armrest and extends beyond an outer end of the chair arm. The cup holder includes a receptacle, which defines two coaxial bores having different diameters, with a ring step therebetween. The bores are sized to receive a plurality of different sized cups in a stable manner. The inner walls of the receptacle, which define the coaxial bores, are slanted toward a center of the bores. The angle of slant generally conforms to an angle of slant associated with the outer surface of a subject cup, whereby surface contact is obtained between the cup and the receptacle.

  • Patent number: 4656901
Abstract: A piece of carpet is placed in a press equipped with a cutting tool and with a plate through which pattern on the carpet can be viewed when the plate overlies the carpet. The position of the plate relative to the cutting tool is accurately controlled and the plate can be moved away from the piece of carpet prior to cutting of the latter. The plate has indicating means which can be aligned visually with selected elements of the pattern of the carpet by manual adjustment of the latter to enable the carpet to be cut at predetermined positions with respect to the pattern.
