  • Patent number: 5116061
Abstract: A strategy game which has as structural base (20) upon which a concentric pedestal (26) is rotatably mounted permitting players to revolve for viewing. A number of equal spacial pins (32) project upwardly around the periphery of the pedestal and each of the two players alternately place their own marked hollow beads (36) over the pins. The pedestal is preferably round to allow a game to be played that has a playing field that is free from limiting boundaries, sidelines or barriers. The game is won when a player aligns four beads in a row either horizontal, diagonal or vertical. A storage bag (40) with a drawstring (42) encloses the pedestal beads and base for protection when not in use.

  • Patent number: 4944513
Abstract: Ball batting apparatus for playing ball with one to three players which has a pair of spaced apart line attaching members (30) positioned a predetermined distance with a line (40) stretched therebetween. Line tensioners maintain the tautness of the line and a ball (56) with a hole (58) in the center thereof is slideably contained on the line. A ball striking device having extended fingers (60) allows a player to hit the ball with the fingers penetrating either side of the line. In one embodiment, a ball launching implement (72) is used by a second player to propel the ball with a flick of the wrist to the player having the striking device simulating a pitcher. In another embodiment, a third player acts as a catcher and manipulates the line (30) with an adjuster (96) simulating a curve or sliding pitch.

  • Patent number: 4805916
Abstract: A game of skill, played on a generally level playing surface having a firm base with a yieldable covering. A spherical ball is placed on a court area of the surface, and a series of toroidal rings are thrown, one at a time, from one or several standard throwing distances toward the ball in an attempt to encircle the ball with at least one ring, either by direct landing or by bouncing a ring over and around it, or by causing the ball to roll over and into a previously thrown ring. If the attempt causes a ring to rest directly against a ball or to lean on it, points are also awarded.
