  • Patent number: 11925356
Abstract: An example medical device for occluding the left atrial appendage includes an expandable member having a first end region, a second end region and an inflation cavity. The medical device also includes a plurality of spine members coupled to the expandable member, the plurality of spine members spaced circumferentially around an outer surface of the expandable member. Additionally, the medical device includes a valve member extending at least partially into the inflation cavity, wherein the plurality of spine members are configured to position the medical device within an opening of the left atrial appendage and wherein the expandable member is configured to expand and seal the opening of the left atrial appendage.

  • Patent number: 8769432
Abstract: In general, the invention relates to a method for capturing information from a web site. The method includes accessing the web site using a browser with a browser module, where the web site comprises a number of web pages having information in a first format, and obtaining a profile corresponding to the web site, where the profile defines a manner to capture information in a first format from the web site. The method further includes capturing information, by the browser module, from at least one of the number of web pages based on the profile and sending the information captured by the browser module to a destination application, where the destination application is external to the browser and where the destination application is configured to use the information in a second format.

  • Publication number: 20060069469
Abstract: An inertia control system includes an integrated inertial measurement unit coupled to an inertial platform. The integrated inertial measurement unit includes three accelerometer gimbals/axes (first, second, and third) respectively, each including a pair of flexure plate accelerometers. First and second accelerometers are coupled to the first gimbal, third and fourth accelerometers are coupled to the second gimbal, and fifth and sixth accelerometers are coupled to the third gimbal. The system further includes a processor utilizing outputs from the inertial measurement unit in three processor modes, including a leveling mode, a compass mode, and an operational mode.

  • Publication number: 20050085983
Abstract: An accelerometer system includes a rigid plate system coupled to an inertial platform. A first flexure plate defines a first flex axis and is adjacent to the rigid plate system a first distance from the spin axis. The first flexure plate generates a first frequency signal in response to acceleration of the first flexure plate. A second flexure plate defines a second flex axis and is adjacent to the rigid plate system a second distance from the spin axis. The second flexure plate generates a second frequency signal in response to acceleration of the second flexure plate. A controller including receives the first frequency signal and the second frequency signal and generates an angular acceleration signal from a difference of the first frequency signal and the second frequency signal. The controller also generates a linear acceleration signal in response to an average of the first frequency signal and the second frequency signal.
