Patent number: 10113622Abstract: An integrally driven linkage for a conveyor system is provided. The integrally driven linkage includes inner and outer links, an axle upon which bearings are placed to support a two stage pulley arrangement and a multitude of additional axles which carry bearings and two position sheaves which carry daisy chained belt loops from one axle to the next. Cables and hoses may be externally attached at each outside link thereby providing a functional cable carrying device. The outside links may be stepped to prevent radial motion in one or more direction and/or to limit radial motion. The integrally driven linkage may be used for virtually any industrial or commercial application where mechanical and control energy is needed for non-stationary equipment, and is not limited to conveyor systems but may be applied to virtually any electro-mechanical device, including but not limited to pneumatic and hydraulic devices.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2017Date of Patent: October 30, 2018Assignee: Nor-Tech Industrial Corp.Inventors: Jerome H. Morris, John A. Radtke, Scott M. Kelly, Chris A. Hatch, Edward H. Sanders, R. Luke McMurray

Patent number: 8931629Abstract: A vernier adjustor for a feed dispenser is provided. The vernier adjustor includes first and second slotted members moveable in slidable relation and a pin, the first and second slotted members each including a plurality of slots separated by respective first and second spacings. The pin is adapted for placement within an aligned slot pairing to fix movement of the first slotted member relative to the second slotted member. The first and second slotted members are positionable in increments less than the first and second spacings. In particular, the first and second slotted members are positionable in increments substantially equal to the difference between the first spacing and the second spacing. Movement of the first slotted member relative to the second slotted member provides an incremental raising or lowering of a feed gate.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2013Date of Patent: January 13, 2015Assignee: Innova-Tech Solutions Corp.Inventors: Paul M. Chellberg, John A. Radtke

Patent number: 8640861Abstract: A vernier adjustor for a conveyor system is provided. The vernier adjustor includes first and second longitudinal members moveable in slidable relation and a pin, the first and second longitudinal members each including a plurality of slots separated by respective first and second spacings. The pin is adapted for placement within an aligned slot pairing to fix movement of the first longitudinal member relative to the second longitudinal member. The first and second longitudinal members are positionable in increments less than the first and second spacings. In particular, the first and second longitudinal members are positionable in increments substantially equal to the difference between the first spacing and the second spacing. Movement of the first longitudinal member relative to the second longitudinal member provides an incremental tensioning of an endless belt associated with the conveyor system.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2012Date of Patent: February 4, 2014Assignee: Innova-Tech Solutions Corp.Inventors: Paul M. Chellberg, John A. Radtke

Patent number: 5236139Abstract: A wear adjustable shredder having spaced apart, parallel rotating shafts, series of interleaved and overlapping cutter disks carried on the shafts, and an adjustable cutter disk assembly carried endmost on one of the shafts, the adjustable cutter disk assembly having an inner adjusting ring and an outer cutting ring with the cutting ring threaded on the adjusting ring. The cutting ring may be rotated with respect to the adjusting ring such that the ring moves axially toward or away from the cutter disks to adjust the spacing of the cutter disks.Type: GrantFiled: August 10, 1992Date of Patent: August 17, 1993Assignee: Ameri-Shred Industrial Corp.Inventor: John A.
