  • Publication number: 20240164463
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for an intelligent laboratory lockbox. The intelligent laboratory lockbox includes a vault unit and one or more presence sensors configured to detect a presence of a specimen within the one or more compartments of the vault unit. The presence sensor(s) may generate a load status based on sensing a specimen in the vault unit, wherein the load status includes one of a loaded status or an unloaded status. A control unit is operably connected to at least the vault unit and the one or more presence sensors. The control unit is configured to modify a specimen pickup workflow based on the load status.

  • Patent number: 11326351
Abstract: A stair nosing comprising an elongate profile member having a back facing configured to abut a bull-nose of a stair tread, a front facing generally opposed to the back facing and a fixing arrangement for facilitating fixing to the bull-nose, wherein, which front facing comprises a longitudinal contact surface configured for contacting a stair tread user's foot and a longitudinal recess adjacent the longitudinal contact surface for receiving a flexible insert, the recess defining a recessed surface of the front facing and wherein the stair nosing is configured to engage with a multi-layer flooring element, which element is disposed on or for disposal on the stair tread, enables easy and effective re-fitting of stairs having a bull nose with multi-layer floor elements, such as LVT, LVP and WPC panels, without unduly compromising aesthetics or durability of the floor elements and without need to reconfigure the bull nose.

  • Patent number: 10941575
Abstract: A stair nosing for use on stairs with composite tread composed of a stair tread and a supplementary tread of e.g. LVT, which is an elongate profile member having a back facing for abutting a front surface of the composite tread, an opposing front facing and a profile tread surface and a first fixing to fix to the nose surface of the stair tread is able be fitted securely to a stair with a bull nose without the need to adapt or cut the bull nose. The stair nosing is capable of bending in order to fit to curved stairs thereby enabling supplementary tread or covering to be applied to a curved stair without squaring off or reforming curved stairs.

  • Patent number: 4048362
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of bonding certain aromatic polyamide to nitrile rubber compositions by applying to an aromatic polyamide a coating of a vinyl chloride polymer, preferably as a latex or plastisol, assembling the coated aromatic polyamide with the rubber composition and vulcanizing the rubber in contact with the coated aromatic polyamide. Preferably both the coating and rubber composition contain aldehyde condensation resin-forming ingredients or a partially condensed aldehyde resin. The reinforced composites produced are useful in hose, belting or tires.
