Abstract: A method for monitoring a biological signal in a wearable context includes receiving first sensor data from a first sensor including a first electrode and a second electrode, the first sensor being disposed proximate to a chest of a wearer, receiving second sensor data from a second sensor including a third electrode and a fourth electrode, the second sensor being disposed proximate a distal end of a limb of the wearer, synchronizing the first sensor data and the second sensor data to extract signal data from the first and second sensor data, performing feature extraction on the first and second sensor data to estimate the biological signal based on comparing results of the feature extraction to a model, and storing a continuous record of the biological signal.
