  • Patent number: 5979490
Abstract: An adjustable anti-freeze water delivery assembly for connecting with a water main buried in the ground comprises a body section with an inner bore and a water outlet. A water supply section couples to a water main below the ground surface and has an inner bore wherein the body section and supply section are telescopically engaged for delivering water from the water main to the water outlet. A valve mechanism is movable between an open and a closed position to control water flow therethrough. A telescoping control stem extends between the body section and the valve mechanism for opening and closing the valve mechanism. The control stem is operable for telescoping in length when the assembly length is adjusted so that water is contained at a sufficient depth below the ground surface to reduce the possibility of freezing in the assembly.

  • Patent number: 5697393
Abstract: An adjustable anti-freeze faucet assembly for mounting within a wall of the building comprises a telescoping water pipe with pieces configured for telescopic sliding movement to vary the length of the pipe, a faucet spout coupled to an outlet end of the pipe and a valve body mounted within the pipe proximate an inlet end. A valve handle is mounted proximate the pipe outlet end near the faucet spout, and a telescoping valve control stem extends in the pipe from the valve handle to the valve body. The control stem telescopes with the length of the pipe such that the valve body is maintained generally stationary with respect to the pipe length. When the faucet assembly is installed, the faucet spout and valve handle are at the cold outside surface, while the valve body is maintained proximate the warm inside surface of the building wall to prevent freezing of the water in the valve body and pipe.

  • Patent number: 5664689
Abstract: A shelf organizer includes a generally planar shelf with sleeves affixed to an underside of the shelf. The sleeves are configured for selected items to be inserted therein for storage while other items are placed atop the shelf for storage as is well known. The shelf organizer is used within a cabinet such as a medicine cabinet, or in conjunction with any standard shelf and in one embodiment includes a shelf extension to accommodate differently sized cabinets.
