Abstract: Systems and methods for collaborative creation of content snippets are disclosed. In embodiments, a method of the invention includes: receiving, by a computing device, indications from multiple users over time that content is of value, wherein the indications are in the form of computer-based actions from multiple user devices monitored by the computing device; dynamically generating, by the computing device, a collaborative snippet based on the indications from the multiple users, wherein the collaborative snippet is auto-tagged by the computing device with context data such that the collaborative snippet includes one or more tags; and saving, by the computing device, the collaborative snippet in a snippet database.

Abstract: Social group membership management includes determining a scope of a social group of a social network. Historical activity data based upon the determined scope is received. The historical activity data is representative of user activity within the social group. A class model of the social group is created based upon the determined scope and the historical activity data. An optimal user profile for the group is created based upon the class model. A user trigger to predict a change in activity for a user of the social group is determined based upon the optimal user profile.

Abstract: Merging two or more user groups for collaboration includes constructing a social graph of each user of a plurality of users within the two or more user groups based upon a user profile and a workflow associated with each user. A weighted adjacency matrix is calculated based on at least one user interaction between two or more users indicated by the social graph. A model inferring leading edge contributions and least significant edge contributions among the users is generated based upon the social graph and the weighted adjacency matrix. One or more prospective groups expected to be involved in a future collaboration are identified based upon the identified leading edge contributions and least significant edge contributions.

Abstract: Online group advisor selection is described. According to a computer-implemented method, users are formed into an online group. Online group membership is based at least in part on a shared interest in a particular topic. Based on online interactions between members of the group and the online activity of group members, a group advisor is identified from among the members of the online group. Administrative rights over online activity for the group is assigned to the group advisor.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, a computer program product, and a computer system for proactive comment evaluation. In embodiments, the invention includes detecting a comment being added to a thread and extracting data relevant to the thread. In addition, the invention includes identifying an average sentiment range of the thread based on the extracted data and a model, as well as identifying a sentiment of the comment. Moreover, the invention involves determining whether the identified sentiment is outside the identified average sentiment range and, based on determining that the identified sentiment is outside the average sentiment range, recommending an alternative comment.

Abstract: A digital data platform, e.g., suitable to support e-commerce, can utilize a digital data processing device—separate and apart from those used in client app authentication and request routing—for executing a token validation service to both generate and validate tokens. This frees the network gateway to route incoming requests for authorization separately from those from already-authorized apps. This is more cost-effective than adding gateways to provide such processing. By separating the token-generating logic from the gateways, this also allows tokens to be stored in and replicated among remote data centers.

Abstract: Activity information relating to activities of a respective electronic communication recipient accessing information associated with an electronic communication is received from each of a plurality of electronic communication clients. The activity information received from each of the plurality of electronic communication clients can indicate an amount of time the electronic communication is open in the respective electronic communication client. Based on the received activity information, each of the electronic communication recipients can be rated to generate at least one recommendation as to who is able to provide information pertaining to the electronic communication. The recommendation can be communicated to another electronic communication recipient.

Abstract: Monitoring and authorizing collection of printed media. A print task is received. A unique electromagnetic (EM) signature is generated for the received print task. Files for the print task are printed including the EM signature. Communication information is received including information exchanged between a radio frequency identification (RFID) badge associated with a user requesting access to a common printing area and a RFID reader associated with the common printing area, and information by an electromagnetic detector of a computer from the EM signature. Based on the first and second set of received communication information, an attempted collection of the printed media by the print task owner is determined. If the attempted collection is not made by the print task owner, a notification is transmitted to a computer associated with the print task owner indicating an unauthorized attempted collection of the printed media.

Abstract: One embodiment provides a method comprising determining a recurring event involving a first vehicle based on location information for the first vehicle over a pre-determined period of time, and determining one or more recurring vehicles for the recurring event. Each recurring vehicle is a different vehicle, and a number of times the recurring vehicle is within proximity of the first vehicle over the pre-determined period of time satisfies a pre-determined threshold. The method further comprises establishing a vehicle social network including the first vehicle and the one or more recurring vehicles. The method further comprises generating a shared pool of resources and caching power by pooling together resources and caching power of each vehicle included in the vehicle social network, and utilizing the shared pool of resources and caching power to facilitate collaborative caching between vehicles in the vehicle social network.
