  • Patent number: 12271375
Abstract: Executing a query in a disaggregated cluster. A query is received at the disaggregated cluster. A query graph is created based on the query that identifies a hierarchy of vertices, where each vertex is associated with a set of data responsive to at least a portion of the query. The compute nodes process the query graph by first identifying a minimum set of tables, files, and objects stored on the storage nodes required to retrieve data that satisfy the query. Next, the compute nodes selectively assign the identified tables, files, and objects to a leaf vertex of the query graph to optimize retrieving data from the storage nodes. Thereafter, the compute nodes process the retrieved data sets associated with each vertex using separate threads of execution for each vertex of the query graph such that leaf vertices are performed in parallel. The compute nodes then provide a result set.

  • Publication number: 20250102119
Abstract: An automatic changeover valve switches fluid communication between a fluid outlet and either a first cylinder or a second cylinder, wherein the first and second cylinders hold one or more fluids, such as a liquified gas fuel. A detection device detects acceleration information of the automatic changeover valve. A processing unit analyzes the detected acceleration information and determines when the detected acceleration information indicates that the automatic changeover valve is switching the fluid communication of the gas fuel outlet from the first cylinder to the second cylinder. An alert to a remote computing system is generated of the changeover event.

  • Publication number: 20250090323
Abstract: An annuloplasty ring for repair of mitral valves whose shape can be altered directly or remotely to perform post-implant size and/or shape adjustments. One version of the annuloplasty ring has a size-adjustable remodeling inner core within an outer suture-permeable interface for attaching the ring to an annulus. The inner core has a size-adjustable segment formed by short spaced-apart tubular sections that can move toward and way from one another such as on rails. Alternatively, short sections separated by compressible connectors may be used. One or more tethers may be attached to one side of the size-adjustable segment and pulled from the other side to constrict the segment. Multiple tethers may be connect at different locations around the ring to provide some control over where the ring constricts. An adjustment handle with a flexible shaft may be operated from outside the body to adjust the ring post-implant.
