  • Publication number: 20220331601
Abstract: Described here are devices, systems, and methods for applying pulsed or modulated electric fields to tissue. In some variations, a method of treating may comprise advancing a pulsed electric field device into a body cavity of a patient. The pulsed electric field device may comprise an elongate body and an expandable member coupled to the elongate body. The expandable member may comprise an electrode array. A pulsed waveform may be delivered to the electrode array to generate a pulsed or modulated electric field thereby treating tissue.

  • Publication number: 20210113265
Abstract: Described here are devices, systems, and methods for applying pulsed or modulated electric fields to tissue. In some variations, a device may comprise a first elongate body comprising a lumen, a second elongate body at least partially positioned within the lumen, and an expandable member rolled about the second elongate body. The expandable member may comprise an inner end coupled to the second elongate body, an outer end coupled to the first elongate body, and an electrode array.

  • Patent number: 10022106
Abstract: A device includes a first retainer plate, a second retainer plate, a connector link, and a clamp. The second retainer plate has a clearance aperture. The connector link has a first end and a second end. The first retainer plate is coupled to the first end and the second retainer plate is coupled to the second end. The first retainer plate and second retainer plate are in parallel alignment. At least one of the first retainer plate and the second retainer plate are elastically urged to converge. The clamp is coupled to the connector link by a joint. The joint is configured to articulate in at least two degrees of freedom and configured to retain a selected fixed alignment as to the connector link relative to the clamp.

  • Publication number: 20150290476
Abstract: A system for diaphragmatic pacing includes an ultrasonic transducer and a control module. The ultrasonic transducer has an emitting surface. The emitting surface is configured to couple with a tissue of a patient. The transducer is configured to transdermally emit ultrasonic energy and induce movement in a thoracic diaphragm of the patient in response thereto. The control module is coupled to the transducer and has a processor. The processor is configured to execute an algorithm to control operation of the transducer.
