    Abstract: A pleated filter media configured to receive a stream of fluid flowing in a first direction is provided. The pleated filter media includes a first filter media panel and a second filter media panel coupled to the first filter media panel at a first pleat extending in a second direction transverse to the first direction. The pleated filter media also includes a first embossment disposed on the first filter media panel and the second filter media panel. The first embossment extends in a third direction transverse to the first direction and the second direction.
