  • Patent number: 11936253
Abstract: A system can include an axial field rotary energy device with an axis of rotation and a rotor coaxial with the axis and having a shaft, bearings, rotor disks that are coaxial and permanent magnets on each rotor disk. A printed circuit board (PCB) stator is located between the rotor disks to define an air gap on each side of the PCB stator. An enclosure has two enclosure sections with an inspection port. Bearing caps and bearings are mounted to the rotor. A variable frequency drive (VFD) assembly is coupled to the axial field rotary energy device. The VFD has a flexible conduit that extends between the VFD housing and the axial field rotary energy device. The flexible conduit can adapt to different sizes of axial field rotary energy devices.

  • Publication number: 20190176124
Abstract: The invention relates to new compositions of polyorganic functional groups modified silica. The compositions contain a wide range of different functional groups such as mercapto, sulfide, thiourea, amines and amides in the same composition and each of these functional groups are present in an array of numerous different oligomers, configurations and stereochemistry. These functional groups have a strong affinity for metals and particular targets. Combining a high number of these functional groups together in the same composition enhances the overall binding affinity of the functionalised material. Combination with different structural configurations further enhances the capacity to bind to diverse structural variations in the targets found in actual process, product and waste streams. This multitude of binding mechanisms enables very high levels of purification and target removal as well as selectivity to be achieved in product, process and waste streams.

  • Patent number: 7278935
Abstract: The invention relates to sports goals for games such as football, rugby, hockey etc, where the goals are formed by uprights and crossbars. Because of security issues, there are many instances where goals must be removed for storage when not in use, but secured in place to guard against their improper removal by unauthorized persons, with a substantial guarantee that post and the crossbar do not become disconnected when in use. The objective is met by a sports goal comprising two uprights and a crossbar, and a respective connecting member to attach each upright to the crossbar, each connecting member being secured to a respective end of the crossbar and detachably attached to a respective upright by a spigot on the connecting member or upright slidably engaging a socket on the upright or the connecting member, with a releasable barrel lock to secure the spigot within the socket.

  • Patent number: 4098952
Abstract: Polyester films are primed with copolymers of acrylic or methacrylic acid esters, glycidyl acrylate or methacrylate, and acrylonitrile, optionally with an acrylic or methacrylic comonomer having a functional hydrophilic group, e.g. hydroxyethyl methacrylate. When the priming polymer contains less than 20 mole % of acrylonitrile as comonomer it is preferably cross-linked with an agent such as a melamine formaldehyde condensate.

  • Patent number: 4066820
Abstract: Substrate layers comprising an acrylic or methacrylic copolymer or a copolyester on a polyester film support are coated with an aqueous latex or solution comprising an acrylic or methacrylic copolymer, an unhydrolyzed or partially hydrolyzed polymer or copolymer of vinyl acetate or a copolymer of vinylidene chloride together with a crosslinking component. The coated films may be used in a variety of end uses, including drafting films.
