Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for an application pre-launch system. An example embodiment operates by detecting a user interaction associated with launching an app configured to operate on a computing device. A first launch command is provided to a server associated with the app. The first launch command is configured to instruct the server to begin loading application data for the app into a cache. Application code of the app is executed, wherein the application code is configured to provide a second launch command to the server. The application data is received from the cache responsive to the second launch command. The app is launched on the computing device using the application data received from the cache. After the launching, the app is configured to receive a user command.

  • Patent number: 12490353
Abstract: Computer implemented systems and methods for providing dynamic lighting through lighting fixtures are provided herein. In one aspect, one or more characteristics of light provided from a lighting fixture or a plurality of lighting fixtures changes over time to shape the environment of an indoor space according to simulated environment illumination parameters and general illumination parameters. Dynamic lighting may improve the health or wellbeing of individuals in an indoor space, for example, by simulating an outdoor environment to reduce stress, by providing circadian entrainment to improve sleep and wakefulness, or the like. Other aspects of the present disclosure enable lighting fixtures to provide light that is synchronized with one or more other devices that simulate an environment and shape the environment of an indoor space.

  • Patent number: 12429543
Abstract: A method for performing magnetic resonance-guided thermal therapy includes selecting a first set of sampling characteristics for acquiring a first set of slabs covering a first anatomical region of interest. Additionally, a second set of sampling characteristics is selected for acquiring a second set of slabs covering a second anatomical region of interest. This second set of sampling characteristics is distinct from the first set of sampling characteristics. An interleaved acquisition of the first set of slabs and the second set of slabs may then be performed using the first set of sampling characteristics and the second set of sampling characteristics.

  • Patent number: 12127380
Abstract: A cooling assembly includes an evaporator containing a primary cooling medium, a passive condenser, and a heat exchanger. When a secondary cooling medium is provided to the heat exchanger, the primary cooling medium in the gas phase switches from being received by the passive condenser to the heat exchanger without operating any valves located between the evaporator and the passive condenser and between the evaporator and the heat exchanger. The primary cooling medium circulates between the evaporator and the passive condenser and between the evaporator and the heat exchanger by natural circulation and gravity without a pump in the flow path of the primary cooling medium between the heat exchanger and the evaporator and between the passive condenser and the evaporator to circulate the primary cooling medium.

  • Publication number: 20240185189
Abstract: A method for ordering the vehicles of a fleet of vehicles according to a maintenance need includes determining a time series for each vehicle in the fleet. The time series includes, for each time step, an instantaneous value of at least one quantity of interest obtained from monitoring events acquired by a system for monitoring the vehicles of the fleet. The time series is analyzed over a predetermined time interval, considering the time series determined for all the vehicles of the fleet, and considering that at each time step, the state of a vehicle is either a “normal” state or an “abnormal” state. An optimal sequence of states over the predetermined time interval can thereby be obtained. A list of the vehicles of the fleet can be ordered according to the properties of bursts detected for each of the vehicles.

  • Patent number: 11903113
Abstract: A method includes the steps of obtaining a frame from an image sensor, the frame comprising a number of pixel values, detecting a change in a first subset of the pixel values, detecting a change in the second subset of the pixel values near the first subset of the pixel values, and determining an occupancy state based on a relationship between the change in the first subset of the pixel values and the second subset of the pixel values. The occupancy state may be determined to be occupied when the change in the first subset of the pixel values is in a first direction and the change in the second subset of the pixel values is in a second direction opposite the first direction.
