  • Publication number: 20140089162
Abstract: A method and system for improving stock exchange equity trade order acknowledgment times including a network appliance (“trade accelerator”) in the sub-network of the trading platforms, having a specialized network flow processor with associated micro-code and a host processor running specialized software. Specialized network appliance software sensitive to trading protocols for communicating between trading platforms and exchange servers detects latency variations in trade order acknowledgments at the exchange and recommends to subscribing trading platforms a least latency trade order path.
    Type: Application
    Filed: November 6, 2013
    Publication date: March 27, 2014
    Applicant: CAPE CITY COMMAND, LLC
Inventors: James Cooke, Sridhar Rao, John Robison, Ron Bauman

  • Patent number: 8392536
Abstract: A method delivering content from a plurality of sources to a plurality of end servers through a central manager is provided. The method includes receiving the content from the plurality of sources at the central manager, formatting the content to a form usable by the plurality of end servers, creating a transaction generic to the plurality of end servers where the transaction includes a reference to a set of instructions for storing the formatted content, sending the transaction to an end server in the plurality of end servers, and calling the reference to execute the set of instructions where the set of instructions store the formatted content into the memory of the end server.

  • Patent number: 8079843
Abstract: Self-stripping thermoforming insert allows a newly formed article to be removed easily from the forming insert by compressing a region within the insert surface creating a void that allows the newly formed article to separate from the surface of the self-stripping insert. The portion of the insert that compresses is spring loaded and air driven. After the article has cooled the device is activated freeing the newly formed article for simple higher quality components from the thermoforming process.

  • Publication number: 20020049806
Abstract: An access server controls use of services in an account based access server and includes a database of users, a data structure associating users identified as parents with parent accounts, users identified as children with child accounts and associating parent accounts with child accounts in family accounts. The access server includes logic for verifying parental status of a parent account with respect to a child account and logic for limiting access to a user using a child account that is associated with a family account, where such limitations are determined, at least in part, based on selections made by a user of a parent account associated with the family account.

  • Patent number: 5715449
Abstract: A message originator is presented with a tree of phrase choices organized from broad to specific categories, with the selections in more specific categories directed by the originator's selections in the broader categories. In a specific embodiment, the selections relate to a patient's medical condition and observations of a health care provider, with broader categories indicating general body systems and narrower categories indicating specific items, including values for properties of an item described by other selections on the path. The text of the message is also presented to the originator, who can then edit the message as text. The text is derivable from the tree structure selections, or path, taken from the originator and the interspersed free form text. At any time in an editing process, or a viewing process after the message has been fixed, an editor or viewer can reselect the path on the tree which generated the text.
