  • Patent number: 11924215
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to systems and methods that intelligently generate reassignment value conditions for reassigning access rights. The systems and methods include executing a trained contextual machine-learning model to generate predictions of value components of the reassignment value condition, which once satisfied, enables an access-right requestor to have an assigned access right reassigned to the access-right requestor.

  • Patent number: 10719408
Abstract: Cloud-based storage services are provided for storing and/or sharing content across multiple devices, where the content is periodically synchronized between the devices and the storage service. Conventionally, if locally stored content is deleted from a device, the delete would be propagated to the storage service causing the content to not only be deleted from the storage service but from any other devices where the content was locally stored and synchronized with the storage service. Embodiments are directed to retainment of locally deleted content at the storage service to prevent accidental or nefarious deletions of locally stored content on a device from further causing the content to be deleted universally from the storage service and/or multiple other devices. For example, the storage service may be configured to receive content stored locally on the device, detect a deletion of the content on the device, and retain the content at the storage service.

  • Patent number: 10708300
Abstract: Techniques for detecting fraudulent account usage without accessing user content associated with user accounts are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a report indicating fraudulent account usage related to an account of the computing service and in response to the received report, disallowing access to any content items associated with the account without disabling access to the account. While access to the content items is disallowed, collecting usage data related to the account or the content items and developing a model representing an activity profile of accessing the account or the content items. The method further includes detecting additional fraudulent account usage based on the developed model without scanning content items in the additional accounts.

  • Patent number: 10671568
Abstract: Systems and techniques of de-duplicating file and/or blobs within a file system are presented. In one embodiment, an email system is disclosed wherein the email system receives email messages comprising a set of associated attachments. The system determines whether the associated attachments have been previously stored in the email system, the state of the stored attachment, and if the state of the attachment is appropriate for sharing copies of the attachment, then providing a reference to the attachment upon a request to share the attachment. In another embodiment, the system may detect whether stored attachments are corrupted and, if so, attempt to repair the attachment, and possibly, prior to sharing references to the attachment.

  • Patent number: 10630908
Abstract: The present invention comprises a system for and method of frequency prefiltering comprising a camera shutter capable of continuously variable illumination during a single exposure of the sensor. The shutter comprises a continuously variable exposure effector which in disposed in an image path, either in front of a lens or between a lens and a sensor. The system for frequency prefiltering further comprises a synchronization cable that synchronizes a drive system with a sensor or with film. The shutter further comprises a postfilter. The postfilter comprises a digital finite impulse response convolutional filter.

  • Publication number: 20190246240
Abstract: An example system includes a database storing a queue of entries indicating technical issues to be addressed at a walk-up location. The system also includes a queue management software module configured to: receive, from a computing device, a request to insert a first entry into the queue; monitor a travel time between a location of the computing device and the walk-up location; determine a wait time until the first entry reaches a predetermined position within the queue; in response to the travel time meeting or exceeding the wait time, transmit a notification to the computing device instructing to depart for the walk-up location; determine an arrival time at the walk-up location based on updated locations of the computing device following the departure; adjust a position of the first entry within the queue based on the arrival time; and assign the first entry for service at the walk-up location.

  • Patent number: 7925704
Abstract: A computer implemented method comprising receiving a list of one or more contact points from a sender and comparing the list of one or more contact points to a satellite server's do-not-contact list. Any contact point on the list of one or more contact points that appears on the satellite server's do-not-contact list is reported to the sender. The satellite server's do-not-contact list is generated from a do-not-contact list distributed by a master server. A registrant registers with the master server to provide a registrant contact point to be on the do-not-contact list to be distributed by the master server. The contact points in the registry may be organized in a hierarchy with preferences at one or more levels.
