Abstract: A storage, retrieval and processing system for processing objects is disclosed. The storage, retrieval and processing system includes a plurality of storage bins providing storage of a plurality of objects, where the plurality of storage bins is in communication with a retrieval conveyance system, a programmable motion device in communication with the retrieval conveyance system for receiving the storage bins from the plurality of bins, where the programmable motion device includes an end effector for grasping and moving a selected object out of a selected storage bin, and a movable carriage for receiving the selected object from the end effector of the programmable motion device, and for carrying the selected object to one of a plurality of destination bins.

Abstract: A cable management apparatus of an electric vehicle charging station for managing an electric vehicle charging cable is described. The cable management apparatus comprises a housing and a swing arm. The housing houses a hub connected to a swing arm housing to allow the swing arm housing to rotate about the hub from a starting position to an ending position. The housing further houses a damper, where a first end is attached to the housing of the cable management apparatus and a second end is attached to the swing arm housing to manage retraction of the swing arm housing. The housing further houses a first rotation stop element to prevent the swing arm housing from rotating beyond the ending position. The cable management apparatus further comprises the swing arm housing connected to the housing of the cable management apparatus by the hub and the second end of the damper.

Abstract: A carbon dioxide distribution system and carbon dioxide subcooler useable within such a system are disclosed. The carbon dioxide subcooler includes an insulated enclosure forming an interior volume, the insulated enclosure having a supply inlet, a supply outlet, and a cooling inlet in fluidic communication with the interior volume. The carbon dioxide subcooler further includes a coil supply tube positioned within the interior volume, the coil supply tube being fluidically connected between the supply inlet and the supply outlet.

Abstract: There is described a lighting control system of a building environment comprising a control device and a lighting device. The control device is capable of detecting an activation of a configuration mode of the lighting control system and controlling illumination for the building environment in response to command inputs received at a user interface. The lighting device is capable of receiving a message indicating that the activation of the configuration mode has been detected by the control device and receiving a directional signal from a directional device subsequent to receiving the message. A membership status of the lighting device in a device group is changed in response to receiving the directional signal.

Different editor assist handler modules can then be chained to process the syntax to provide a particular feature or insight. Features or products can evolve incrementally by adding a new handler module that processes the same syntax. In one aspect, the actual handler modules used can be determined depend on the cursor context.

Abstract: A lighting unit having a battery-powered auxiliary light source that is automatically powered in the event of a power outage. The lighting unit can be an integral portion of a lamp, configured as an add-on to an existing lamp, or configured as a standalone light source. The lighting unit includes a device for rectifying AC power supplied to the unit to generate DC power, a battery and a device for charging the battery from the AC power, a relay powered by the DC power and with input contacts electrically connected to the battery, and at least one LED light source electrically connected to output contacts of the relay.

The device can be deployed by compressing the device longitudinally resulting in radial expansion.

The method and system provides for the association of brushing techniques with electronic game tasks. The system can include a toothbrush and a position sensor operatively connected to the toothbrush for sensing movement associated with brushing technique. A gaming interface is preferably in operative communication with the position sensor for providing feedback regarding performance of game tasks and for providing prompting regarding performance of game tasks.

Abstract: An improved hand-held food processor for performing selected cutting operations upon a foodstuff is disclosed comprising an elongated housing, a lever arm extended substantially through the housing and pivotally coupled thereto under a spring bias, and a processing plate containing a cutting panel slidably disposed at the base of the housing and adapted to engage the pivoting lever arm at its lower tip to provide reciprocating cutting motion relative to the housing. The housing is formed having a narrow grip-like upper section for handling and an expanded bell-shaped lower section with an open bottom at the base of the housing. The lower section of the housing is further formed having a forward compartment intended to hold the foodstuff to be processed.

Abstract: A combined radiative and convective rework system is provided for repair, replacement, removal and rework of an electronic component on a printed circuit board. The system includes a guide for guiding heat-inducing radiation and heated gas towards at least one lead of the electronic component, and for preventing the heat-inducing radiation from damaging the body of the component. A heater, including a source of infrared radiation, provides the heat-inducing radiation and the heated gas. In one embodiment, the guide includes a single funnel cooperative with apparatus for reducing component body heating. In second and third embodiments, the guide includes two concentric funnels which form a volume which is traversed by the heat-inducing radiation and heated gas, and which provide at least one narrow region of heat energy to at least one of the leads, but not directly to the component body.

Abstract: The invention is a rack having a pair of opposed upright columns between which rolls of wallpaper may be held upon dowel rods for unrolling. Below the dowel rods a unit is mounted between the columns. The unit includes a cutter guide member which is raisable relative to an underlying support, whereby paper may be drawn from a roll beneath the cutter guide member and over the support. The cutter guide member serves as a guide along which a knife may be drawn to cut from the roll a section of paper resting upon the support with a straightedge. And the principal components of the rack are held together by four bolts, whereby the rack may be readily knocked-down to its components upon removal of the bolts. The knocked-down components are light in weight, and may be piled together into a compact flat pack for manual portage and subsequent reassembly.

Abstract: Sealing and stress relief are provided to a low-fracture strength glass-ceramic substrate. Hermeticity is addressed through the use of capture pads in alignment with vias and through polymer overlays with interconnection between the underlying via or pad metallurgy and the device, chip, wire or pin bonded to the surface of the layer. Multilevel structures are taught along with a self-aligned sealing and wiring process.
