  • Patent number: 11978360
Abstract: A training simulator for intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) systems includes channels where at least one of the channels is identified as an active stimulation channel and a subset of the rest of the channels is identified as reference or pick up sites. Channels of the subset having signal data that exceed a predefined threshold are retained for further processing, while channels with signal data that do not exceed the threshold are eliminated from further reporting. Response data for the remaining channels are generated in advance of a future time when the response would occur. The generated data is time stamped and stored for display at a time window when requested by the system.

  • Publication number: 20220402568
Abstract: A smart bicycle locking device having a body portion with an operatively associated cable and pin locking mechanism. The cable and pin locking mechanism provides a cable extending from a proximal end to a distal end, wherein the proximal end is pivotable connected to the body portion, and wherein the distal end connects to a locking pin. The body portion provides first and second locking engagement receptacles oriented transverse relative to each other. Each locking engagement receptacle may slidably receive the locking pin, wherein the second locking engagement receptacle is configured to automatically lock the locking pin in a locked position. The pivotable connection facilitates the horseshoe cable being movable between a vertical and a lateral orientation. The locking pin can only be removed from the second locking engagement receptacle via an authorized signal provided to an authorized user.

  • Patent number: 10054681
Abstract: Improved two-dimensional planar array transducer and beamformer apparatus and methods. In one embodiment, the two-dimensional planar array transducer is capable of simultaneously or sequentially forming multiple acoustic beams in two axes and at two or more widely separated acoustic frequencies from a single flat planar array transducer. The transducer planar array consists of two or more electrically and acoustically independent two dimensional planar transducer array structures operating at different frequencies that are physically integrated onto a single multi frequency configuration. In an exemplary embodiment, a second higher frequency transducer array is positioned within the aperture area of a lower frequency planar array transducer. Methods of using the aforementioned two-dimensional planar array transducer and beamformer are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8596258
Abstract: A coal-preparing device for charcoal briquettes having a base having an inner cavity, wherein a plurality of pores is disposed in a first position on the base; a canister having an inner cavity for holding charcoal briquettes, the canister is attachable to the first position on the base, wherein a plurality of air holes is disposed in a bottom surface of the canister; and a fan component disposed in the base, the fan component functions to draw air into the inner cavity in the base and through the pores and the air holes into the inner cavity of the canister, the fan component is operatively connected to a power source; wherein in some embodiments, the base is constructed in an L-shape, the L-shape having a horizontal portion and a vertical portion, wherein the fan component is disposed on the vertical portion and the canister is attachable to the horizontal portion.

  • Patent number: 7906835
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for ball grid array land patterns are provided. A ball grid array land pattern includes a plurality of land pads and electrically conductive traces. The plurality of land pads is arranged in an array of rows and columns. A perimeter edge of the array includes a pair of adjacent oblong shaped land pads. An electrically conductive trace is routed between the pair of adjacent oblong shaped land pads from a land pad positioned in an interior of the array to a location external to the array. The oblong shaped land pads are narrower than standard round land pads, and thus provide more clearance for the routing of traces. The oblong shaped land pads enable more land pads of the land pattern array to be routed external to the array on each routing layer, and thus can save printed circuit board component and assembly costs.

  • Publication number: 20050016511
Abstract: A capacitive discharge ignition (CDI) system for generating ignition sparks in an internal combustion engine comprises a single CDI module including a plurality of charge storage capacitor devices, a corresponding plurality of sets of ignition outputs, at least one charging circuit for charging at least one of the plurality of charge storage capacitor devices, and an ignition controller for selectively and individually controlling each of the plurality of charge storage capacitor devices and the at least one power supply circuit. Each of the plurality of charge storage capacitor devices is operatively coupled to the ignition outputs of one of the plurality of sets of ignition outputs. This allows for the single CDI module to power multiple, independent spark plugs either simultaneous of, immediately prior to or after each other while still delivering full energy to each ignition device.
