  • Patent number: 9595247
Abstract: A heel-toe actuated bass drum pedal system includes a pedal having a heel hinge point at a rear portion and an opposing toe hinge point at a front portion. A heel transfer arm is connected between the heel hinge point and the base. A heel rocker pivot is connected to the base and a heel linkage connected between the heel transfer arm and the heel rocker pivot such that movement of the heel linkage provides rotational movement to the heel rocker pivot which may carry a drum beater. A toe rocker pivot is connected to the base and a toe linkage connected between the toe rocker pivot and the toe hinge point for providing the rotational movement to the toe rocker pivot which may include a second drum beater. A return spring biases the rocker pivots toward a preselected rotation.

  • Patent number: 9542724
Abstract: To provide smoothly scaleable map features on interactive digital maps, a first and a second sets of style parameters for rendering a map feature at a first zoom level and a second zoom level, respectively, are received. The first and second sets of style parameters are provided to a vertex shader. The vertex shader is configured to interpolate the first set of style parameters and the second set of style parameters to generate an interpolated set of style parameters for a certain zoom level between the first zoom level and the second zoom level, and render the map feature at the certain zoom level in accordance with the interpolated set of style parameters.

  • Patent number: 9495767
Abstract: Style parameters, which specify respective visual parameters for rendering a map feature at multiple zoom levels, are stored as an indexed data structure in one or more uniform variables that are (i) accessible in multiple stages of a rendering pipeline, (ii) unchanged during execution of the multiple stages of the rendering pipeline. A selection of a zoom level at which the map feature is to be displayed is received via a user interface. One or more indices (exactly one in a typical case) are paired with every stylized vertex drawn. The vertex shader is configured to retrieve corresponding style parameters from the indexed data structure using the one or more indices and render the map feature at the selected zoom level using the retrieved style parameters.

  • Publication number: 20070201762
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, systems, and machine readable media for pixel transformations. One exemplary method includes: determining a state of a pixel format transformation, wherein a pixel format includes a predetermined number of pixel data components and a predetermined number of bits for each of the pixel data components and wherein the state includes a source pixel format and a destination pixel format and at least one intermediate pixel format; converting pixel data in the source pixel format to pixel data in the intermediate pixel format; and converting the pixel data in the intermediate pixel format to pixel data in the destination pixel format. In certain embodiments, a method includes building and compiling a function, at run-time, for the pixel format transformation based upon the state.
