  • Publication number: 20240152879
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to scheduling maintenance services for a special-purpose vehicle. An example method for scheduling a service for a special-purpose vehicle includes: obtaining usage information for the special-purpose vehicle of a user, determining, based on the usage information, that the special-purpose vehicle is due for vehicle maintenance, providing, to a computing device of a service provider, a request to schedule the vehicle maintenance for the special-purpose vehicle according to an available service method type for the vehicle maintenance, receiving, from the computing device of the service provider, an indication that the service has been scheduled, and providing, in response to the received indication the service has been scheduled, an indication to a device of the user that the vehicle maintenance has been scheduled for the special-purpose vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11915203
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate scheduling maintenance services for a special-purpose vehicle. In an exemplary embodiment, a user device comprises a user interface, a processor, and memory comprising instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to output, to the user interface, a plurality of service method icons. The plurality of service methods comprise a first service method icon corresponding to a service being performed on the special-purpose vehicle at a first location and a second service method icon corresponding to the service being performed on the special-purpose vehicle at a second location. The first location and the second location are different locations. The memory also comprises instructions that when executed by the processor cause the processor to receive, via the user interface, a selection of a service method icon of the plurality of service method icons and send, to a scheduling server, a signal corresponding to the selected service method icon.

  • Publication number: 20070250162
Abstract: A diaphragm assist device includes a magnetic mat adapted for mounting inside a human body adjacent the diaphragm. The mat is made from a material responsive to application of an electromagnetic field so as to be movable into compressive relation with the diaphragm in response to application of the electromagnetic field thereto and movable out of the compressive relation to permit the diaphragm to relax when application of the electromagnetic field is discontinued. The device also includes an electromagnetic assembly adapted for surrounding the torso of the human body in functionally cooperative relation with respect to the mat, and for alternately generating and discontinuing the electromagnetic field so that the mat alternately moves into and out of the compressive relation with the diaphragm. The device also includes a controller constructed and arranged to control an intensity level of the electromagnetic field generated by the electromagnetic assembly.

  • Publication number: 20070238914
Abstract: An electromagnetic cardiac assembly adapted to assist ventricular output in a human heart includes a magnetic mat adapted for mounting inside a human body near the heart. The mat is made from a material responsive to application of an electromagnetic field so as to be movable into compressive relation with the heart in response to application of the electromagnetic field thereto and movable out of said compressive relation to permit the heart to relax when application of the electromagnetic field is discontinued. The assembly also includes an electromagnetic subassembly adapted for mounting on the human body in functionally cooperative relation with respect to the mat, and an energy dispersion device adapted for mounting between the mat and the heart. The energy dispersion device is constructed and arranged to disperse energy between the mat and the heart.

  • Publication number: 20070156008
Abstract: An electromagnetic biventricular assist device adapted to assist ventricular output in a human heart includes a magnetic mat adapted for mounting inside a human body adjacent the heart, and an electromagnetic assembly adapted for mounting on the human body in functionally cooperative relation with respect to the mat. The mat is responsive to application of a first electromagnetic field generated by the electromagnetic assembly so as to be movable from a neutral position towards the heart and into compressive relation with the heart, and responsive to application of a second electromagnetic field that is opposite the first electromagnetic field so as to be movable from the neutral position in a direction away from the heart to expand ventricles in the heart and augment filling of the ventricles. A control circuit is constructed and arranged to control when the first and second electromagnetic fields are generated by the electromagnetic assembly.

The mat is made from a material responsive to application of an electromagnetic field so as to be movable into compressive relation with the heart in response to application of the electromagnetic field thereto and movable out of said compressive relation to permit the heart to relax when application of said electromagnetic field is discontinued. The mat has a posterior surface that substantially conforms to an anterior surface of the heart without flexing the mat. The assembly also includes an electromagnetic subassembly adapted for mounting on the human body in functionally cooperative relation with respect to the mat, and for alternately generating and discontinuing the electromagnetic field so that the mat alternately moves into and out of the compressive relation with the heart.

  • Publication number: 20070156055
Abstract: A method for generating a cardiogram is provided. The method includes contacting an anterior surface of a patient's heart with a magnetic mat. The magnetic mat is constructed and arranged to conform to and move with the heart as the heart contracts and relaxes. The method also includes placing an electromagnetic assembly on the patient's chest. The electromagnetic assembly includes an inductive coil and is in functionally cooperative relation with respect to the mat. The method also includes measuring a current generated in the coil by movement of the magnetic mat due to movement of the heart.
