  • Patent number: 8034915
Abstract: Provided are novel nucleic acid molecule encoding modified HAP1 DNA-binding domains. Also provided are novel reporter genes based on GFP and extension. The materials provided by the invention may be used in a variety of methods of activating genes having HAP1 upstream activation sequences in plants, which methods can be used to co-ordinate or investigate gene expression, optionally in conjunction with GAL4-regulated expression, and also in novel “enhancer” traps.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 20, 2002
Date of Patent: October 11, 2011
Inventors: Jim Haseloff, Marlon Bauch, Corinne Boisnard-Lorig, Sarah Hodge, Laurent Laplaze, John Runions, Smita Kurup
