The upper surface includes at least one cut out through the raised edge that is configured to support the user's neck in an anatomically correct position. A recessed surface in the upper surface for supporting the back surface of the user's neck and cranium and the sides of the user's head extends from proximate a left edge to proximate a right edge and is in communication with the at least one cut out. The pillow is of a sufficient height to extend from the user's neck to above the user's ears and face. Abstract: An exercise device is disclosed for use in exercising and strengthening abdominal and lower back muscles. The device is easily utilized, can be disassembled and is portable. The device utilizes an elongated resilient spring member, which can be interchanged for varying degrees for resistance. The elongated resilient spring member is demountably affixed to the seat portion of the device. The upper portion of the elongated resilient spring member features has an attached roller pad as an upper body support on one side and a handrail element on the other side. The handrail element is mounted by an adjustable clamp that grips the cross section of the handrail to vary the frictional resistance against the raising and lowering of the handrail. The rotatable hand grips of the handrail are mounted with lock pins for adjustment by the user.

Abstract: An abdominal exercise device is disclosed which comprises a base support member assembly upon which the user sits, a vertical resistance and restorative force member assembly mounted on the base support member assembly, and an arm support member. The arm support member positions the body of the user in an upright position. The invented exercise device permits the user to train and strengthen the major and minor muscles of the upper and lower back, to train the frontal portion of the midsection, the abdominals, the obliques to avoid spinal compression and to maintain decompression of the spinal vertebrae.
