  • Publication number: 20190320600
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an irrigation implement may include receiving tubing. The tubing may be conventional plastic irrigation tubing. The tubing may be cut to form a first end of an irrigation implement. The tubing may be cut to form a second end of the irrigation implement. Either the first end or the second end of the tubing may be pinched in forming the irrigation implement. The pinched end of the tubing may be sealed in forming the irrigation implement. In an embodiment, the pinched end may be heat sealed to form the irrigation implement.

  • Patent number: 10334794
Abstract: An irrigation implement including a member having a first end and a second end, the first and second ends both being positioned along a longitudinal axis of the member. The first end being open and the second end including a pinched seal. The member further defines an opening disposed toward the second end, and being configured to enable an irrigation tube to be attached to the opening such that the opening is sealed by the irrigation tube.

  • Publication number: 20170231172
Abstract: An irrigation implement may include a member having a first end a second end. The first end may be open and the second end may include a pinched seal. The member may further define an opening disposed toward the second end, and be configured to enable an irrigation tube to be attached to the opening such that the opening is sealed by the irrigation tube. A process may use a pinching and heating process to self-seal the irrigation implement on one end in producing the irrigation implement.

  • Patent number: 4738051
Abstract: A trellis for supporting horizontal wires to train grape vines whose canes grow upwardly. The trellis comprises a post which is set in the ground and a pair of tubular metal arms attached at their lower ends to opposite sides of the post, the arms having a bend therein to create above ground a symmetrical goblet-like form in which the portions of the arms above the bends diverge outwardly with respect to the post. The arms are bridged by a rigid cross brace which is attached at its ends to the arms at a point intermediate the bend and the upper end thereof, the brace being secured to the post to rigidify the structure. Bored at corresponding positions in the arms are three sets of holes, one set being adjacent the upper end, the other at about the intermediate point, and the third at about the bend.
