JOHN S. KROLL has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 8487034
Abstract: The invention relates to a hot melt dispensable polymeric composite and process for making and using the composite. Particulates of adequate particle size are mixed with a polymer that exhibits low viscosities at temperatures typically provided by hot-melt glue guns to form rods that vary significantly in density from the base polymer. Novel articles can be manufactured by dispensing the composite from a glue gun into molds or by placement of the melt molding compound into preformed cavities within an end article.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 16, 2009
Date of Patent: July 16, 2013
    Assignee: Tundra Composites, LLC
Inventors: Kurt Emil Heikkila, John S. Kroll, Rodney K. Williams

  • Publication number: 20100175305
Abstract: A fishing lure and method of making a fishing lure. The fishing lure having a body constructed of at least two different materials. One of the materials having a density that is at least two times greater than the other material. The method including depositing the two materials within a mold cavity such that the resulting fishing lure body has a particular center of gravity.
