Abstract: A buckle assembly includes a first housing and a second housing removably connected to the first housing. Each of the first and second housings may include a main body connected to an outwardly bowed strap bar through outwardly angled lateral walls, such that a strap channel is formed between the main body, the outwardly bowed strap bar and the outwardly angled lateral walls. The strap bar may provide a strap clearance area between a strap secured to the strap bar and a body to which the buckle assembly is secured.

Abstract: A two-part buckle includes a male buckle component received in a female buckle component. Lock surfaces between the male and female buckle components are provided inwardly of flexible segments of the lock arms and axially between the flexible portion of the lock arm and accessible ends of the lock arms depressed for unlatching the buckle. The lock surfaces angle toward the disengaged positions in the direction of arm movement for unlatching.

Abstract: A strap adjuster may include a main body and enlarged adjustment engagement areas configured to allow a user to easily adjust a strap secured to the strap adjuster. The main body may include an engagement wall connected to a strap-retaining wall and lateral walls. At least one strap passage is formed through the main body. The enlarged adjustment engagement areas may be proximate the engagement wall and are wider than the strap and strap passage. In order to loosen the strap for adjustment, the main body is pivoted with respect to the strap.

Abstract: A buckle assembly includes a first housing having first lateral walls, and a second housing having second lateral walls. The second housing securely retains said first housing in a mated position. The first housing disengages from the second housing through manipulation of the first lateral walls at any location along the first lateral walls such that the manipulation of the first lateral walls causes the first housing to disengage from the second housing.

Abstract: A buckle assembly includes a female connection member having button openings, and a male connection member configured to mate with the female connection member into a securely connected position. The male connection member includes lateral arms having buttons at distal ends. The lateral arms are configured to deflect about pivot points, and the buttons are configured to be secured within the button openings. A flexible and resilient floating strut connects the lateral arms together.
