    Abstract: A flexible pressure-sensitive food grade wrap film, and a process for manufacturing the film. The film includes a substrate overcoated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, a release overprinted on the adhesive that prevents the adhesive from clinging to the surface of an article or to itself without applying pressure, and, optionally, a release coating on the opposite side of the substrate. Once pressure is applied to the film, the film flexibility allows the adhesive to contact the surface of the article or itself and subsequently adhere to hold the film in place or to form a sealed pouch around an article. The pressure-activated contact and adhesion to an article or to itself are designed to form a tight, spill-resistant physical bond that seals liquid or solid contents in a container, or forms a sealed pouch around a solid article.

The point of sale system includes at least one operator console controlled with the control program with each operator console communicating with at least one console device connected thereto with a control program being executable by a site controller processor of the point of sale system which is operatively associated with a coresident console and being executable by a remote console processor within each console which is remote from the site controller and connected to the site controller by a communications link. The programming includes coresident console application programming for controlling operation of a coresident operator console which is executable by the site controller processor and remote console application programming for controlling operation of each remote console within the point of sale system.

The product includes a surfactant and laundry enzymes homogeneously dispersed throughout a semi-hard carrier vehicle including in-situ formed sodium stearate. Various salts added to the composition of the invention as effective selectively to modify, controllably and independently, particular physical and chemical parameters of the composition, including texture, consistency, hardness, melting point and pH to optimize the rheology and the softening range of the product and to enhance related functional features.
