    Abstract: A novel fuser roll is disclosed which has a rigid core and having coated on the core a thin layer of a composition which comprises the crosslink product of a mixture of about 100 parts by weight of .alpha.,.omega.-hydroxypolydimethylsiloxane, about 128 to 250 parts by weight of finely divided tabular alumina, about 13 to 50 parts by weight of a finely divided iron oxide, together with effective amounts of a crosslinking agent and a crosslinking catalyst.
