    Abstract: A ski stick or ski pole which includes a main part composed of a shaft and a thinner ferrule part, with a transition between the main shaft and the thinner ferrule part being threaded with an outer diameter which is substantially smaller than the shaft of the stick. A female thread is provided at the other end of the stick, with the female thread corresponding to the thread of the thinner part whereby two or more sticks may be connected together into long staves.
