  • Patent number: 12652509
Abstract: Techniques for deploying location based applications in a network are discussed herein. Such location based applications can be installed or implemented in a network node close to the base station and/or the location of the user equipment (UE) using the location based application in an environment. When a user is within a geofence area associated with the location based applications, the UE can present an indication that location based services are available instead of requiring a user to select an application on their own or thorough an application store. After the exchanging authentication information, the UE can use authentication information to send a request, along with location data or pose data of the UE, to an edge server to render content for presentation on the UE. The edge server can transmit the content to the UE for presenting content at the location in accordance with the location based application.

  • Publication number: 20250393011
Abstract: Techniques for routing input(s) associated with a machine learned model to various models located at different locations are discussed herein. In some examples, the model may be a generative machine learned model, and in some examples, the different locations may correspond to a first location on a user equipment (UE), a second location in a core network of a network provider, and/or a third location outside of the core network. In some examples, a routing component on the UE may receive an input to a machine learned model and can determine characteristics of the input, and/or characteristics and/or capabilities of the UE, and can route the input to the one or more of the first location, the second location, the third location, or other locations. The UE can receive a response from the location and can present the response at the UE.

  • Patent number: 7995529
Abstract: A cellular network having a plurality of mobile stations and a plurality of cells. Each cell is configured to provide communication services to the plurality of mobile stations using at least two overlapping channels. Each cell includes a base station configured to provide communication services using at least four channels, which include the overlapping channels, within a service area divided into three or four sectors. The service area may be hexagonal or square shaped. A first pair of the four channels has an overlapping portion. A second pair of the four channels, the channels of the second pair being different channels than those of the first pair, may also have an overlapping portion. The four channels may each comprise a portion of an Educational Broadband Service/Broadcast Radio Services band. The first and second pairs of channels may be nonadjacent to one another.

  • Publication number: 20110167180
Abstract: A mechanical and electrical attachment apparatus for coupling a wireless communication device to a computing device such that higher levels of radiated power may be applied while maintaining adherence to FCC regulations. The attachment device includes apparatus for coupling the wireless device to the attachment device by establishing a plurality of electrical connections including a radio frequency signal connection. The apparatus also includes an antenna that is used to transmit and receive radio frequency signals. The apparatus may optionally include an RF amplifier.

  • Publication number: 20080240032
Abstract: A legacy spectrum allocation results in inefficient use of the spectrum now allocated to broadband services. A broadband wireless OFDMA communication system allocates channels with overlap between adjacent channels to make more efficient use of the allocated spectrum. Guard tones are eliminated to reduce channel bandwidth requirements leaving a smaller bandwidth overlap. Interference mitigation procedures are used to reduce adjacent channel interference.
