  • Patent number: 10612437
Abstract: A method for execution with an exhaust-gas particle filter which is operated with an exhaust-gas aftertreatment system, wherein the exhaust-gas particle filter has a filter wall along which exhaust gas is conducted for filtering purposes; wherein the method includes a regeneration phase with the steps: a) setting a soot load on the exhaust-gas particle filter, wherein the set soot load effects the formation of a soot layer on ash deposited on the filter wall; and b) subsequently mobilising the deposited ash by burning off the formed soot layer during the course of an active regeneration of the exhaust-gas particle filter.

  • Patent number: 9144528
Abstract: A device and method for assisting a user to articulate a limb. The device has an upper section, a lower section, and at least one joint between the upper and lower section. The device comprises an exoskeleton with a first cuff coupled to the lower section of the user's limb, a second cuff coupled to the upper section of the user's limb and a third cuff coupled to a portion of the user's body above the upper section of the limb. At least one cable is attached to the first cuff and at least one cable is attached to the second cuff. A series of drivers located remotely from the exoskeleton are attached to cables and are connected to a processor. The processor transmits signals to the drivers to vary the lengths of the cables to guide articulation of the user's limb.

  • Publication number: 20060226782
Abstract: The HID lamp mount has a discharge tube with two ends. A shroud surrounds the tube. Shroud clips position the shroud ends. The shroud clips have arcuate portions engaging the shroud periphery and transverse portions spanning the shroud diameter and grasping and positioning the tube ends. A shroud rod attaches between the clips to maintain their positioning. An electrical lead-in connects the second electrode terminus and has a first leg extending transversely from the terminus and a second leg extending parallel to the electrode. An offset electrical lead-in connects the first electrode terminus, and has a first section extending transversely to the first electrode, a second section extending parallel to the shroud, a third section extending toward the shroud, and a fourth section extending parallel to the shroud. An offset electrical lead-in retaining clip is affixed to the shroud and the fourth section of the offset electrical lead-in retaining clip.

  • Publication number: 20060175948
Abstract: A multi-functional shroud/arc tube support or clip (40a) for a high intensity discharge lamp (10). The support (40a) has one end (42) formed to engage a shroud (20). The one end (42) is formed as an arcuate member (43). A middle portion (44) is formed of separated, depending legs (46, 48) defining a space (50) therebetween for clasping the substantially rectangular pinch seal (52) of a quartz arc tube (14). The central section (53) is formed to clasp the cylindrical capillary (54) of a ceramic arc tube (14a). The central section (53) comprises the bight of a pair of U-shaped legs and the bights are provided with opposing, substantially hemi-cylindrical concavities (53a).
