  • Patent number: 12702650
Abstract: The present invention is based on the finding that subanesthetic doses of N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonists alleviate social interaction deficits associated with behavioral disorders, such as Smith-Magenis Syndrome (SMS). The invention therefore provides methods and compositions for treating SMS. Also provided are methods of selecting NMDA receptor agonists useful in alleviating social interaction deficits associated with such behavioral disorders.

  • Publication number: 20250253050
Abstract: A method, a system, and a non-transitory computer-readable medium provides an interactive patient-level data visualization and analysis tool that illustrates a patient's health trajectory across multiple organ systems. Data from an electronic medical record system and one or more research databases are integrated into an analytics platform. A visualization tool plots the patient's health trajectory and overlays data from an entire user-defined disease cohort as a reference group to visualize a disease course of the patient compared to courses of other patients, with a same disease, selected by a user.

  • Publication number: 20250194290
Abstract: A method of wagering includes the steps of developing an N×N grid based on selections from a bettor, the selections being based on different independent events conducted at different times; receiving a selection of at least one of the events; and displaying specific details of the selection. A non-transitory machine-readable storage medium, having encoded thereon program code, wherein, when the program code is executed by a machine, the machine implements the method is also provided. The method can be performed on any mobile computing device, computer, smart television, or other device properly equipped to perform and display such method.

  • Patent number: 12147575
Abstract: Batch de-identification of unstructured health care documents includes performing optical character recognition (OCR) upon a form-based document so as to produce an initial set of terms. Amongst the initial set of terms, initial specific terms are identified which contain protected information. Each of the identified initial specific terms are then replaced with synthetically generated corresponding terms. Subsequently, additional OCR is performed upon the form-based document so as to produce a new set of terms and new specific terms are identified amongst the new set of terms which are determined to contain protected information. Finally, the new specific terms are compared to the initial specific terms and the form-based document is then added to a repository of de-identified documents only if none of the new specific terms are equivalent to corresponding ones of the initial specific terms. But otherwise, the form-based document is flagged in error.

  • Publication number: 20240081978
Abstract: A method for providing automatic placement of a lens in a cartridge is provided. The method includes seizing, by a nozzle head of a lifting tool, the lens from a pick position of a platform based on an air flow through the nozzle head and depositing, by the lifting tool, the lens at a delivery point in the cartridge by changing the air flow through the nozzle head. The method includes determining, by a processor coupled to the lifting tool, a location of a haptic of the lens with respect to a feature of the cartridge. The method includes adjusting, by the lifting tool, the haptic from the location to a target orientation on the cartridge when the location of the haptic is determined to be misaligned with the feature. The method can be implemented as an apparatus, a system, and/or a computer program product.

  • Patent number: 11908281
Abstract: A method of allocating a single wager into multiple parlay wagers, each including several different wagering events. Wagering events from the multiple parlay wagers are arranged in easily identifiable patterns that are viewed on a single two-dimensional parlay grid. The method includes the selection of wagering events from a list of wagering events or a bettor's betslip, the placement of a wagering event on a parlay grid betspace, re-arrangement of wagering events on the parlay grid, selection of two-dimensional parlay patterns, allocation of a single wager into multiple parlay wagers, displaying potential and actual payout calculations for each of the parlay wagers on a two-dimensional parlay betslip. The method can be performed on any mobile computing device, computer, smart television, or other device properly equipped to perform and display such method.

  • Publication number: 20230420089
Abstract: A synthetic generation of healthcare documents for use in training a classifier is described herein. Initially, a multiplicity of electronic forms are received in memory of a host computing system and data extracted from a specific common field located in each of the forms. A statistical metric is then computed for the specific common field a value synthetically generated for the specific common field according to the computed statistical metric. Finally, the synthetically generated value is inserted into the specific common field of a training version of the electronic forms and the training version of the electronic forms persisted as part of a training data set for a classifier adapted to classify the multiplicity of electronic forms.

  • Patent number: 11679916
Abstract: A dispensing closure system includes an upper closure portion and a lower closure portion including an axial flow conduit and a vent conduit. The upper closure portion is axially movable relative to lower closure portion between shipping and dispensing positions. A seal is disposed on the lower closure portion over the flow and vent conduits. A peripheral spacing strip is removably secured to the upper closure portion and engages with either the lower closure or the outside of the container to prevent movement. A piercing probe includes piercing elements in alignment with the flow and vent conduits for piercing the seal. In the shipping position, the piercing elements are spaced from the seal. However, when the spacing strip is removed and the upper closure portion is axially moved to the dispensing position, the piercing elements pierce the seal to open the flow conduit and the vent conduit.
