  • Publication number: 20210300642
Abstract: This present invention discloses an identification tag for containers for informing a user as to what type of hazardous material is stored in a fuel container. The identification tag for container is a shaped disc inside a tag cover and attached to the container. The identification tag for the containers features a rotating or changeable disc with different labels or regions for the hazardous materials. The device also allows users to set the disc at a specific label and then attach the tag to the container via the clip, and ensures the proper hazardous material type is identified within the container.

  • Publication number: 20090214831
Abstract: Disclosed is a carrier component for use in a vehicle sealing assembly such as a weatherstrip assembly. The carrier is formed from a non-metallic material, and preferably from a polymeric material. Also disclosed are vehicular sealing assemblies utilizing such carriers, and related methods of forming such sealing assemblies.

  • Publication number: 20080020443
Abstract: The mutation of the endA and recA genes in E. coli strain BL21 creates features that are very attractive for protein expression and cloning in a single prokaryotic system, including rapid cell growth, high transformation efficiency, rapid plasmid replication to high densities, and high plasmid stability. When specially prepared for competence, these strains are highly useful for both cloning and protein expression.

  • Publication number: 20020131841
Abstract: A self-tapping fastener or fastening peg secures a weatherseal to a mounting surface of an automotive vehicle. A pointed, conical nose pierces the weatherseal to form an opening. In the preferred embodiment, the fastening peg is rotated at a first velocity as it is axially advanced toward the weatherseal to create an opening. The fastening peg is further axially advanced and rotated at a second velocity to advance a first flange through the pierced opening, thereby securing the fastening peg to the weatherseal. The weatherseal is then secured to a vehicle mounting surface by advancing a locking assembly through a pre-formed opening in the mounting surface.

  • Patent number: 6093558
Abstract: Compositions and methods are provided for adhering and binding biologically active proteins and protein-containing composites to substrates. Adhesive formulations comprising a nonproteinaceous polymer of monomeric units comprising an aromatic moiety substituted with at least one hydroxyl group such as poly(p-hydroxy-styrene) are applied to substrates and subsequently contacted with proteins. Beads comprising a nonproteinaceous polymer of monomeric units comprising an aromatic moiety substituted with at least one hydroxyl group are also provided, and the beads are coated with a protein. Substrates to which the adhesive formulations have been applied, as well as the beads, can be used to adhere cells and tissues, to sort cell types, to perform immunoassays, to perform chromatography and to remove protein from samples.
