  • Patent number: 11912414
Abstract: A cockpit center console armrest includes a base member configured for mounting to a floor, an extending member mechanically coupled to the base member, and an armrest mechanically coupled to the extending member. The extending member includes an inner telescoping member configured for sliding within an outer telescoping member for adjusting a height of the armrest. A lever exposed on an underside of the armrest is configured for actuating a release mechanism. The release mechanism is configured for releasably securing the inner telescoping member to the outer telescoping member. A pivot axis pivotably couples the extending member to the base member such that the extending member is rotatable for rotating the armrest between a deployed orientation and a retracted orientation.

  • Publication number: 20230288020
Abstract: Disclosed is an electronics device holder made to be mountable on an aircraft control stick arrangement. The holder enables two dimensions of rotation. Rotation clockwise and counterclockwise is provided by a disk on which the holder is mounted. The disk edges are trapped underneath a containing plate. Friction enables the disk, and thus, the holder to be held in different circular positions. A friction hinge is used to establish and hold different pitch positions for the electronics device.

  • Publication number: 20230242238
Abstract: A stairway for aircraft is disclosed which includes first and second stair halves, one which nests in the other. The first half is hinged to the doorway and the second half is hinged to the first half. A mechanical resistance system uses different devices to allow for the airstair to be damped when switching between modes. A retracting arrangement is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20230242239
Abstract: Opposing magnets are used to hold two hinged stairway portions together by including the magnets into opposing surfaces in an aircraft stairway arrangement. The relative position of one of the magnets relative to the other is used to establish a desired holding force.

  • Publication number: 20230242240
Abstract: A table is incorporated into an aircraft staircase design. The table can be deployed when the stairs are stowed inside the aircraft cabin area. The table is upwardly biased such that when it is released from a locking mechanism the table flips up to horizontal.

  • Patent number: 8984020
Abstract: A system and method of registering voters and tabulating an election is provided. A voter database is maintained with a record of each eligible voter comprising at least one voter characteristic. Based on the at least one voter characteristic, a set of positions and issues for which the voter is eligible to vote is determined. The set of positions and issues is printed onto a ballot. The ballot may be printed on demand or mailed to the voter along with a return envelope and an anonymous ballot envelope. The invention further comprises a system and method for tabulating and auditing election results. Voted ballots are scanned and computer readable visual representations of the ballots are generated and stored. The visual representations are analyzed to generate vote data. The visual representation, vote data and ballot are associated with each other by a unique ballot identification.

  • Publication number: 20060195338
Abstract: A web-based customer lead harvesting system. The system is based on an application service model, with the programming for the system being accessible to users of the system via web browsers and the Internet. The users, who are typically business enterprises, may access the system to search unstructured Internet data to obtain leads for prospective customers. The system accepts criteria from the user that describes a type or types of potential customers, as well as addresses of Internet sites of interest. A crawler process retrieves the web site data, and stores the data in a web archive. A harvester process then searches the Internet data according to the client-provided criteria. The system returns the names or the identifying information about the prospect together with a link to the document that verifies the prospect's match to the criteria.
