  • Patent number: 11940227
Abstract: A cooling system includes a heat exchanger having one or more rows of multiple flat tubes, louvered fins disposed between pairs of flat tubes, and special header tube connections to form a counter flow heat exchanger. Heat exchangers having multiple rows may be placed near or close to the server racks and may be in fluid communication with an outdoor heat exchanger having one or more rows. A single-phase fluid is pumped through a fluid circuit or loop, which includes the heat exchangers at the server racks and the outdoor heat exchanger. The single-phase fluid circuit including the heat exchangers at the IT racks may alternatively be in thermal communication with a water circuit that includes an outdoor fluid cooler. The flat tubes can be formed tubes with one or more channels, or extruded tubes with multiple channels. The heat exchangers include header tubes/connections, which facilitate easy fabrication and connection between rows and inlet/outlet, and lower the pressure drop.

  • Patent number: 11920225
Abstract: Elements formed from magnetic materials and their methods of manufacture are presented. Magnetic materials include a magnetic alloy material, such as, for example, an Fe-Co alloy material (e.g., the Fe-Co-V alloy Hiperco-50(R)). The magnetic alloy materials may comprise a powdered material suitable for use in additive manufacturing techniques, such as, for example direct energy deposition or laser powder bed fusion. Manufacturing techniques include the use of variable deposition time and energy to control the magnetic and structural properties of the materials by altering the microstructure and residual stresses within the material. Manufacturing techniques also include post deposition processing, such as, for example, machining and heat treating. Heat treating may include a multi-step process during which the material is heated, held and then cooled in a series of controlled steps such that a specific history of stored internal energy is created within the material.

  • Patent number: 11915807
Abstract: Described herein are techniques of using machine learning to automatically extract clinical variable values for subjects from clinical record data. The techniques designate certain clinical variables as hybrid variables that can be assigned values by machine learning model prediction. The techniques process, using a machine learning model trained to predict a value of a hybrid variable, clinical record data associated with a subject to obtain a predicted hybrid variable value and an associated confidence score. The techniques set the value of the hybrid variable for the subject to the predicted hybrid variable value when the model prediction is of sufficiently high confidence.

  • Patent number: 9501337
Abstract: Methods and systems for collecting and distributing a plurality of notifications are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving a plurality of notifications for a client from a plurality of publishers, wherein each notification of the plurality of notifications comprises a client identifier and a notification type identifier. The method also includes, for each notification of the plurality of notifications, authenticating the publisher of the notification upon receiving the notification. The method further includes, for each notification of the plurality of notifications, determining whether the client is subscribed to receive the type of notification identified by the notification type identifier from the publisher of the notification.

  • Publication number: 20070007892
Abstract: An electroluminescent apparatus utilizes a replaceable electroluminescent sheet which, in operation of the apparatus, is held between two electrodes that are within a resealable housing which may be opened and closed so that a used electroluminescent sheet may be removed therefrom and replaced at the end of its usable lifetime. The housing has front and rear panels associated with the respective electrodes, at least one of the panels being transparent. The electroluminescent sheet is held between the electrodes when the housing is closed and may be removed therefrom and replaced when the housing is opened. A compression structure is provided in the housing to assure close physical contact between the electrodes and the electroluminescent sheet when the apparatus is in operation.
