  • Patent number: 11991157
Abstract: A server establishes a secure session with a client device where a private key used in the handshake is stored in a different server. An encrypted connection is established between the first server and the second server. A message is received from the client device that initiates a procedure to establish the secure session between the client device and the first server. As part of this procedure, the first server transmits over the encrypted connection a request to the second server to use the private key. The first server receives, over the encrypted connection, a response to the request that includes a result of the use of the private key. The first server uses the result during the procedure to establish the secure session.

  • Patent number: 7649404
Abstract: A system may comprise a control system that controls a state of a switch network, the control system having first and second thresholds that determine the state of the switch network based on the relative voltages at an input and an output of the switch network. A scaling network is coupled across the input and the output of the switch network and providing a gain scaling signal to a first input of the control system. An offset network is coupled to the output of the switch network and providing an offset signal to a second input of the control system, the first threshold being set independently of the second threshold based on the gain scaling signal and the offset signal.

  • Patent number: 7591611
Abstract: A fluent material confinement system configured to receive a granular fluent material to form a temporary barrier structure is disclosed, wherein the fluent material confinement system includes a plurality strips, the plurality of strips including a plurality of lengthwise strips and a plurality of widthwise strips coupled with each other to define a plurality of open cells, wherein the plurality of lengthwise strips includes at least one wider lengthwise strip configured to extend into cells of a next-lowest fluent material confinement system when the fluent material confinement system is stacked on the next-lowest fluent material confinement system, and a stacking error indicator associated with the wider lengthwise strip, wherein the stacking error indicator is configured to be effective in low visibility conditions to indicate to a user a location of an error in stacking of the fluent material confinement system on the next-lowest fluent material confinement system.

  • Publication number: 20060034328
Abstract: The invention provides methods and systems for providing priority processing to critical data as the data is transmitted across a network. A plurality of Internet protocol (IP) packets, each of which contains data and priority information, are received at a first router. The data contained in the IP packets is then encapsulated into frame relay frames containing the priority information. The frame relay frames are transmitted from the first router to a frame relay network in a manner determined by the priority information included in the frame relay frames. The frame relay flames are then transmitted across a frame relay network to a second router in a manner determined by the priority information included in the frame relay frames.
