  • Patent number: 9987544
Abstract: A football helmet comprises a rotatable outer shell, an inner shell and a fastener assembly. The inner shell comprises an upper portion and a lower portion. The rotatable outer shell is of a hollow hemisphere shape. The rotatable outer shell has a cavity to receive the upper portion of the inner shell. An air gap is between the upper portion of the inner shell and the rotatable outer shell. A pre-determined torque is applied to a nut of the fastener assembly so that the nut is loosely tightened to a bolt of the fastener assembly. The rotatable outer shell is in a pogo stick motion when a force is applied to the rotatable outer shell so that the ring rotates along the rim track and an outer shell hole deflects toward an inner shell hole.

  • Publication number: 20180007991
Abstract: A safer baseball or softball helmet is constructed of a two-piece molded shell (rounder than the standard helmet today). The inner-shell is the basic helmet (rounder) as we see today. Two options are available for implementation. Option one: retrofit an exiting helmet by installing a rim or no rim and outer-shell cap, attached by a bolt/axis and assorted washers (steel or rubber/pads) to the inner-shell, for a flexing motion as a pogo stick movement to the inner-shell that serves to deflect, rotate, and disperse the force of impact. Option two: manufacture a helmet, with a molded rim or (no rim) as part of the inner-shell, into which the outer-shell will fit. With this design, the outer-shell cap could be interlocked with the helmet inner-shell locking rim with no needed for the bolt/axis. The two shell baseball or softball helmet is designed to reduce all impact forces by rotating outer-shell cap.

  • Patent number: 7435153
Abstract: A companion doll for use in either a patrol car to give the illusion of the presence of an additional officer or for home companion use has a human-like appearance and has several components that articulate including a head that turns, upper and lower arms that raise and lower, and hands that open and close. Motion of these components can be random or can be in response to received external stimuli wherein the doll uses motion and light sensors to detect this stimuli. A closed loop heated water pumping system within the doll warms exterior surface of the doll to give the doll further human-like qualities.
