  • Patent number: 9451811
Abstract: An adjustable flotation device is a device that is utilized to support the user's body in a variety of supported positions when the user is floating in a body of water. The device features an upper support member and a lower support member that are connected by a first adjustable strap and a second adjustable strap. The lengths of the first adjustable strap and the second adjustable strap may be adjusted to allow the user to utilize the present invention in a variety of supported positions. An at least one upper flotation aid and a lower flotation aid are utilized in conjunction with the upper support member and the lower support member in order to provide buoyancy to the device when in water. The upper support member and the lower support member may be separated from the first adjustable strap and the second adjustable strap for portability and storage.

  • Publication number: 20050220021
Abstract: Methods and an arrangement for transmitting electrical power from a power source to a remote load over a telephone twisted pair are provided so as to power the load. The power source may transmit a plurality of electrical power feeds over a plurality of twisted pairs, each power feed limited to no more than 100 watts in a given twisted pair. One or more (or all) of a plurality of independent, power converters at the remote load may generate a voltage output based on receipt of a given power feed from a corresponding twisted pair.

  • Patent number: 4530755
Abstract: A coking process is provided in which a stream of heavy oil product, which typically is recycled to the coking zone, is first subjected to solvent separation using coker naphtha as solvent to separate the heavy oil into a high Conradson carbon content product comprising a minor portion of the coker naphtha and a lower Conradson carbon content product comprising a major portion of the coker naphtha and, thereafter, recovering the lower Conradson carbon content product and recycling the high Conradson content product, including the minor portion of coker naphtha, to the coking zone.
