  • Publication number: 20230362655
Abstract: A system can detect a change associated with a subscriber identity module (SIM) of a wireless device and generate a data record indicative of the change. In one example, the data record is stored on a digital ledger residing on a cryptographically secured and distributed peer-to-peer network (e.g., blockchain) that stores multiple data records of changes to SIMs of wireless devices. The system can determine whether a wireless device is impacted by malicious activity based on an age of its data record stored on the distributed ledger. For example, an aged data record indicates a lower probability that the wireless device was the subject of a SIM swap fraud whereas a newer data record indicates a higher probability of a SIM swap fraud.

  • Patent number: 7074381
Abstract: A process for preparation of an ammonium polythiomolybdate or a hydrate thereof of the formula (NH4)2Mo3S13.n H2O where n is 0, 1 or 2, in which aqueous ammonium monosulfide, elemental sulfur and molybdic oxide are reacted in a sealed reactor, with hydrogen sulfide gas being fed into the reactor until the hydrogen sulfide is no longer absorbed by the reaction mixture to form a reaction product and then heating the reaction product in a sealed reactor, the concentration of ammonium monosulfide in the reaction mixture being controlled throughout the reaction such that reactor pressure does not exceed 700 kPa (100 psig).

  • Patent number: 7047578
Abstract: A apparatus such as a stretcher or guerney, and method, for engaging acquiring and transporting an injured person or some other person or object. The apparatus comprises a base, housing or frame having a low clearance portion; a first conveyance assembly movably connected to the housing for moving the housing with respect to the ground or another base surface; a second conveyance assembly movably connected to the housing for moving the person or object with respect to the housing; and a power member for moving the first and second conveyance assemblies. The apparatus is liftable by other persons to transport the person or object to another location. The method comprises the steps of moving a housing having a low clearance portion so that the low clearance portion moves toward and under the person or object; and moving the person or object relative to the housing. The device and method are mechanized and substantially automated. The device moves so that the person or object remains stationary during loading.
